Wat houdt deze functie in?

Als erfgoedconsulent bouwkundig erfgoed ben je samen met je collega's het aanspreekpunt voor vragen over onroerend erfgoed binnen de aangesloten gemeenten. Je begeleidt erfgoeddossiers van dichtbij, gaat op terreinbezoek, geeft advies aan eigenaars en lokale besturen en werkt mee aan de verdere uitbouw van het erfgoedbeleid in de regio. Daarbij kijk je steeds met een brede blik naar erfgoed, waarbij bouwkundig, archeologisch en landschappelijk erfgoed elkaar versterken.

Je takenpakket

• Je ondersteunt, adviseert en begeleidt dossiers rond bouwkundig erfgoed. Je benadert dat erfgoed daarbij vanuit een geïntegreerde visie waarbij bouwkundig, archeologisch en landschappelijk erfgoed elkaar versterken.

• Je beantwoordt vragen van eigenaars van erfgoedpanden bij renovatie-, restauratie- en herbestemmingstrajecten.

• Je verstrekt advies aan lokale besturen over vergunningen, erfgoedwaarden en beleidsvraagstukken.

• Je voert plaatsbezoeken uit en formuleert deskundige erfgoedadviezen.

• Je werkt mee aan inventarisatie-, onderzoeks- en waarderingstrajecten voor diverse vormen van bouwkundig erfgoed.

• Je onderhoudt contacten met gemeentelijke diensten, erfgoedverenigingen, eigenaars e.a. partners.

• Je werkt mee aan publieksgerichte initiatieven zoals Erfgoeddag, Open Monumentendag, Archeologiedagen en andere erfgoedactiviteiten.

• Je draagt inhoudelijk bij tot communicatie en publicaties rond bouwkundig erfgoed.

Technische competenties

• Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een masterdiploma in architectuur, interieurarchitectuur, stedenbouw, geschiedenis, archeologie, kunstwetenschappen, erfgoedstudies of een aanverwante richting, of je hebt gelijkwaardige relevante ervaring.

• Je hebt aantoonbare affiniteit met bouwkundig erfgoed en monumentenzorg.

• Ervaring met erfgoedadvies, restauratie- of renovatiedossiers is een belangrijke troef.

• Ervaring met de werking van lokale besturen is een pluspunt.

• Je bent vertrouwd met het Vlaamse erfgoedveld en de regelgeving rond onroerend erfgoed, of bereid je hierin snel in te werken.

• Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B of bent bereid dit op korte termijn te halen.

Persoonlijke competenties

• Je communiceert vlot, helder en doelgroepgericht, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

• Je beschikt over een vlotte pen en kan complexe informatie begrijpelijk vertalen naar burgers en lokale besturen.

• Je kan omgaan met uiteenlopende visies op erfgoed en neemt waar nodig een verbindende en bemiddelende rol op.

• Je werkt planmatig, bewaakt deadlines en stelt prioriteiten.

• Je bent proactief, oplossingsgericht en verantwoordelijk.

• Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.

• Je bent bereid om occasioneel avond- en weekendactiviteiten te organiseren of bij te wonen.
