Voor een boeiend subsidieproject binnen de stadsdienst van een historische stad (regio Brugge) is Randstad op zoek naar een nauwkeurige en digitaal onderlegde Erfgoedmedewerker Digitalisering en Beeldbeheer.

Heb jij affiniteit met geschiedenis, cultuur of erfgoed en werk je graag met data en digitale bestanden?

Ben je bovendien nauwkeurig ingesteld en klaar om mee te bouwen aan het duurzaam bewaren van waardevolle erfgoedcollecties? Dan is dit een unieke kans!

Opleiding of Ervaring: Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma (bijv. Geschiedenis, Kunstwetenschappen, Erfgoedstudies, Informatiebeheer, ...) óf je kan minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring voorleggen. Pas afgestudeerden worden uitdrukkelijk aangemoedigd om te solliciteren!

Digitale vaardigheden:

  • Je kunt uitstekend overweg met spreadsheets (Excel) en CSV-bestanden.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met data en basiskennis van (of de sterke wil om te leren werken met) dataformaten en standaarden uit de bibliotheek- en erfgoedsector (zoals MARC21, Dublin Core, XML, JSON, IIIF, ...).
  • Basiskennis van handige datatools (zoals OpenRefine, Notepad++) of beeldbewerking is een troef.

Persoonlijkheid: Je werkt uiterst nauwkeurig en gestructureerd, ook bij repetitieve taken. Je hebt een scherp oog voor detail, bent leergierig en bent trots op de erfgoedstukken waar je mee werkt.

Talen & Kennis: Je spreekt en schrijft uitstekend Nederlands. Affiniteit of ervaring met erfgoed- of bibliotheekwerking is een grote plus.

Je komt terecht in de hoofdbibliotheek, waar je samen met een vaste collega verantwoordelijk bent voor het uitvoeren van een specifiek digitaliserings- en dataproject. Dit betreft een tijdelijk project tot en met 31/12/2028.

  • Digitaliseren van erfgoed: Je digitaliseert fysieke erfgoedstukken met een gespecialiseerde scanner in een verduisterde ruimte. Je beoordeelt de kwaliteit van de beelden, verwerkt en bewerkt de data (maximaal 3 uur per dag scannerwerk).
  • Datacleaning & Beeldbeheer: Je maakt bestanden verzendklaar voor een externe partner voor duurzame bewaring. Je controleert lijsten, maakt back-ups, zet bestanden online en doorloopt nauwgezet het volledige beheerproces.
  • Procesoptimalisatie: Je denkt actief mee over efficientere werkmethodes (bijv. via Excel, slimme scripts of AI-toepassingen).
