Als ergotherapeut ben je een echte ‘ problem-solver’, uitdaging verzekerd!

Jij gaat dagelijks op zoek naar de meest geschikte oplossing om het comfort van de bewoners zo hoog mogelijk te houden. Jij onderzoekt onder andere de fijne motoriek en de cognitie van de bewoners door het uitvoeren van verschillende ergotherapeutische testen.

Oplossingen aanreiken is hetgeen waar jij van houdt, alsook het nauwe contact met de bewoners. De ene oplossing is eenvoudig te vinden, maar vaak zal je jouw creativiteit moeten gebruiken om de perfecte oplossing te bieden.

Je werkt nauw samen met andere disciplines in het woonzorgcentrum. Jij bent de expert in het team als het gaat over ergotherapeutische behandelingen. En je zal samen met het animatieteam en de kinesitherapeuten de lijnen mee uitzetten om de bewoners in het woonzorgcentrum te motiveren om activiteiten bij te wonen.

Jouw belangrijkste uitdagingen:

  • Uitwerken van een ergotherapeutisch behandelprogramma’s.
  • Als het gaat over het hulpmiddelenbeleid, ben jij de expert.
  • Vertrouwen opbouwen met de bewoners, familie, vrienden en collega’s zodat je een echte vertrouwenspersoon voor hen bent.

  • haptonomie, snoezelen, aromatherapie, comfortzorg, validation… zijn termen die je niet moet googlen.
  • Je bent flexibel en wil af en toe eens 's avonds of in het weekend werken.
