The posting

Het Antwerps Revalidatiecentrum (ARC) staat al 55 jaar garant voor kwalitatieve, gespecialiseerde en multidisciplinaire diagnostiek en revalidatie. Wij begeleiden kinderen en jongeren met een hoorbeperking, autismespectrumstoornis, verstandelijke beperking, complexe ontwikkelingsstoornissen of ADHD. Ook volwassenen met een hoorbeperking kunnen bij ons terecht.

Met een team van 42 medewerkers behandelen we ruim 180 zorggebruikers. Onze werking is ambulant, interdisciplinair, evidence-based en gebaseerd op het biopsychosociaal model.

In het kader van een kwaliteitsvolle hulpverlening zijn wij op zoek naar een ergotherapeut (m/v/x) met ervaring en/of specifieke interesse in het werken met peuters, kleuters en lagere schoolkinderen met een autisme spectrum stoornis (31u).

Functieomschrijving:

  • Diagnostiek en psychomotorische behandeling van peuters, kleuters en kinderen met ASS.
  • In overleg met het interdisciplinaire team de sociaal-communicatieve vaardigheden in kaart brengen en integreren in de psychomotorische behandeling.
  • Het opvolgen en bijsturen van een behandelingsplan.
  • Het geven van individuele of groepstherapie volgens de noden van het kind.
  • Administratie: verslaggeving naar interne en externe instanties, up- to-date houden van eigen patiëntendossiers.
  • Samenwerking met therapeuten (inter- en intradisciplinair), met ouders en met andere betrokken diensten.
  • Opvolgen van evoluties binnen het eigen vakdomein en zorgen voor doorstroming van relevante informatie en kennis.
  • Bij voorkeur relevante ervaring in het werken met peuters, kleuters en lagere schoolkinderen met ASS (gemiddelde begaafdheid, cognitieve beperking, regulatie problemen)
  • Bijscholingen rond kinderen met ASS, methodieken en aanpak zijn een meerwaarde
  • Kennis hebben van en ervaring hebben met het afnemen van psychomotorische testen is een pluspunt
  • Evidence based werken en notie hebben van ICF is een meerwaarde
  • Zowel goed zelfstandig als goed in team kunnen werken
  • Goede communicatieve- en luistervaardigheden
  • Contactvaardig zijn, zowel met de kinderen zelf als met de ouders, verwijzers, scholen en eventuele andere instanties die bij het kind betrokken zijn
  • Het hanteren van een open communicatiestijl met respect voor ieders visie en verantwoordelijkheden
  • Een verbindende ingesteldheid naar zorggebruikers en collega’s
  • Bereidheid tot bijscholing en verdere update van bestaande technieken
  • Ervaring binnen de CAR-sector is een meerwaarde
