Vandaag kijken wij voor onze campus in Puurs dringend uit naar versterking tot midden juni 2027:

Ergotherapeut / medewerker reactivering (tijdelijk) (Contractueel - contract bepaalde duur – deeltijds 22,8/38u – IFIC 14 – campus Puurs)

Jouw taken

In ons woonzorgcentrum maak je als ergotherapeut deel uit van het Zorgteam. Binnen de dienst Wonen & Leven werk je nauw samen met je directe collega’s, waaronder begeleiders Wonen & Leven, een orthopedagoog, een referentiepersoon dementie en kinesitherapeuten. Samen staan jullie in voor het bieden van een kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening en een vrijetijdsbesteding op maat voor onze bewoners. Dagelijks houdt dit voor jou als ergotherapeut / medewerker reactivering o.a. volgende verantwoordelijkheden in:

  • Je stimuleert en activeert bewoners continu via ADL-training (‘activiteiten van het dagelijkse leven’), gericht op het behouden en verbeteren van de zelfredzaamheid (vb. zichzelf wassen, eigen boterham smeren, nodige hulpmiddelen aanreiken, gangrevalidatie...).
  • Door aangepaste groeps- en individuele activiteiten te organiseren, geef je de bewoners de kans om hun mentale, fysieke en sociale mogelijkheden te ontplooien (snoezelbad, geheugentraining, knutselen, quiz...).
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het adviseren, selecteren en opvolgen van hulpmiddelen (o.a. rolstoelen), ook vaak in overleg met je collega’s.
  • Zo zorg je voor een optimale positionering van bewoners in overleg met het zorgteam.
  • Je neemt – indien mogelijk – functionele testen af in samenspraak met de arts (vb. MMSE test).
  • Samen met de orthopedagoog bied je aromatherapie en zorgmassages aan, met bijzondere aandacht voor bewoners in een palliatieve fase.
  • Je staat in voor het opmeten en bestellen van steunkousen.
  • Je biedt ondersteuning bij het organiseren van themaweken rond bijvoorbeeld valpreventie, veilig schoeisel....
  • Je fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor families.
  • Je werkt nauw samen en overlegt actief met andere teams in het woonzorgcentrum.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Ergotherapie; of één van de diploma’s vermeld in artikel 4, § 2 van het Ministerieel Besluit van 6/11/2003 (zijnde o.a. graduaat/bachelor/licenciaat/master kinesitherapie, readaptatiewetenschappen, logopedie, arbeidstherapie, dieetleer, orthopedagogie, psychomotoriek, psychologie, psychologisch assistent en gelijkgestelden, maatschappelijk assistent en gelijkgestelden, gezinswetenschappen, gerontologie...);
  • Je hebt een hart voor ouderen, met of zonder dementie, en weet hen te activeren en te motiveren.
  • Ervaring in een woonzorgcentrum is een grote plus maar geen must.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands.
  • Je beschikt over een gezonde dosis creativiteit en energie.
  • Je bent een duidelijke communicator en werkt graag in teamverband.
  • Je bent betrouwbaar en hebt een luisterend oor.
  • Je staat voor een warme, respectvolle en persoonsgerichte benadering.
  • Je bent leergierig en gedreven, en denkt in functie van oplossingen.
