The posting

Bij WZC De Vaeren draag je als ergotherapeut bij aan een zorg op maat. Je bent een vertrouwd gezicht voor bewoners en maakt het verschil in kleine momenten van aandacht. Je werkt nauw samen met verpleegkundigen en collega’s om kwaliteitsvolle, persoonsgerichte zorg te bieden.

Je dagelijkse bezigheden bestaan uit:

  • Identificeren van de vraag van de bewoner met een zorgbehoefte en hen informeren over de ergotherapeutische aanpak (doelstellingen, stappen)
  • Stellen van ergotherapeutische diagnoses bij de bewoners met betrekking tot problemen in hun dagelijks functioneren
  • Opstellen van de capaciteitsbalans en evalueren van de autonomiegraad
  • Therapeutische behandelprogramma uitwerken en de behandeling bepalen (verloop, frequentie, duur, …), mede aan de hand van multidisciplinair overleg
  • Het behandelprogramma uitvoeren en waar nodig bijsturen
  • Organiseren van groeps- en/of individuele activiteiten omtrent het dagelijkse leven en vrijetijdsbesteding van de bewoners
  • Na de behandeling een balans opmaken en informatie uitwisselen met de betrokken arts en verplegend team
  • Administratie: verslagen van behandelingen, aanvullingen op patiëntendossier, …
  • Werkdomeinen: fysieke problematiek, sensoriële problematiek en psychosociale problematiek
  • Behandelmethoden: cognitieve methodieken, fysieke methodieken, sociaal-emotionele methodieken, psycho-emotionele methodieken
  • Adviseren en informeren van de bewoners en hun familieleden over zijn/haar evolutie

Als ergotherapeut(e) ondersteun je bewoners in het behouden van hun zelfstandigheid en dagelijkse functionaliteit. Je stelt therapieplannen op, begeleidt ADL-training en werkt preventief rond mobiliteit en veiligheid. Samen met je collega’s zorg jij voor maximale autonomie en levenskwaliteit. Daarnaast staan de kwaliteiten observatievermogen, creativiteit en samenwerking centraal. Die heb je nodig om therapie op maat uit te werken en multidisciplinair af te stemmen.

Verder vragen wij:

  • goede kennis van het Nederlands;
  • multidisciplinair kunnen samenwerken;
  • weekendwerk 1 werkend weekend op 3 (samen in te plannen)

uren:

  • week; tussen 8u en 16u
  • weekend en feestdagen; 7u30 – 15u30 10u – 18u
