Dierenverzorger (m/v/x)

Wij zoeken een dierenverzorger die een diploma dierenzorg heeft behaald en daarnaast aantoonbare ervaring heeft met honden en katten.

Deze functie vereist een behaald diploma Dierenzorg én aantoonbare professionele ervaring met zowel honden als katten. Ervaring uitsluitend met andere diersoorten, zoals wildlife, paarden, landbouwdieren of proefdieren, wordt niet beschouwd als relevante ervaring voor deze functie

Werkuren

di–vrij: 08u00–12u00 en 13u30–17u30

za: 8-11 uur en van 12-16 uur

Sporadisch bereikbaar buiten de uren

Taken

  • Verzorging van honden en katten
  • Gedrag van honden observeren en correct inschatten
  • Medische zorgen toedienen
  • Onderhoud van verblijven en terreinen
  • Aansturen vrijwilligers
  • Assistentie dierenarts + administratie
  • Begeleiding kandidaat adoptanten
  • Occasioneel vervoer dieren naar/van dierenarts

Profiel

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met honden en katten (vereist)
  • Sterke kennis van hondengedrag en kattengedrag (vereist)
  • In staat zijn gedrag en lichaamstaal van honden correct in te schatten
  • Ervaring in een professionele dierenopvang of asiel is een sterke plus
  • Zelfstandig, organisatorisch en verantwoordelijk
  • Fysiek sterk en stressbestendig
  • Communicatief en teamgericht
  • Nederlands spreken en schrijven
