Jobomschrijving

Voor onze klant, een maritiem expert in het behandelen van schadeclaims, kijkt Unique uit naar een Ervaren Maritiem Schade-expert. Als Surveyor ben je allround inzetbaar: je behandelt dossiers, verzorgt het secretariaat en voert de maritieme expertises uit. Volgde je een studie aan de Hoge Zeevaartschool of een opleiding Logistiek Management? Werk je liever aan wal dan opvarend en ben je klaar om veel bij te leren? Dan is onderstaande job iets voor jou! Een greep uit jouw takenpakket als Maritiem Schade-expert:

  • Je werkt als maritiem expert voor verzekeraars en verzekerden die jou aanstellen wanneer er iets misloopt met een lading goederen tijdens het transporteren
  • Je neemt schadedossiers aan van klanten wereldwijd betreffende de lading op het schip
  • Je gaat ter plaatse kijken wat de schade inhoudt en documenteert deze aan de hand van foto's, metingen, vaststelling, ...
  • Je overlegt met de verschillende betrokken partijen en probeert de situatie na te bootsen die tot de toestand van de goederen leidde
  • Je houdt hierbij rekening met de technische specificaties van de goederen
  • Je schrijft een rapport en communiceert je conclusie met alle betrokken partijen

Herken je jezelf in onderstaand profiel van Maritiem Scahde-expert?

  • Idealiter volgde je een opleiding aan de Hoge Zeevaartschool of volgde je een opleiding Logistiek Management
  • Je hebt al ervaring achter de rug als surveyor binnen een expertisekantoor
  • Je hebt kennis van maritieme verzekeringen en je weet wat het is om contact te hebben met verzekeringsmaatschappijen
  • Je hebt een uitstekende talenkennis Nederlands en een goede talenkennis Engels en Frans
  • Je bent iemand die snel verbanden legt en over een goed logisch redeneervermogen beschikt
  • Je hebt geen 9-to-5 mentaliteit
  • Je bent bereid om op termijn occasioneel naar het buitenland te gaan voor een opdracht
