Voor onze klant te Zelzate, een internationale producent van hoogwaardige koolstof- en chemische producten, zijn we op zoek naar een Procesoperator om te werken in 6 ploegen. Het bedrijf speelt wereldwijd een essentiële rol in tal van industrieën, zoals aluminiumproductie, bouwmaterialen, elektroden, en speciale chemicaliën. De vestiging in de Gentse haven, Zelzate, is gespecialiseerd in het verwerken van koolstofresidu's tot waardevolle grondstoffen.

Als procesoperator ben je verantwoordelijk om de afdeling volledig te laten functioneren van de afdeling in samenwerking met de Chef Operator. in te staan voor het bedienen van de afdeling, staalname, staalanalyses en uitvoeren van onderhoudswerken.

Je verzekert de permanentie van de installaties en zorgt, in samenwerking met de Chef Operator, voor de goede en veilige gang van zaken in de afdeling volgens de technische-, productie- (kwaliteit en milieu) en veiligheidsinstructies.

Takenpakket:

  • Staalname en staal(voor)bereiding
  • Uitvoering van de analysen volgens de beschreven gevalideerde methoden
  • Registratie van de analyseresultaten en vrijgave van de producten (in samenspraak met de Chef Operator)
  • Het toevoegen van de producten in de waterbehandeling van de koeltorens
  • Uitvoeren van controlerondes
  • Veiligstellen van equipment voor werkzaamheden
  • Orde en netheid in de installatie.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma chemie of minstens 2 jaar ervaring in de chemische sector.
  • Je bent bereid in een volcontinu systeem te werken, namelijk 6 ploegen.
  • Je bent een teamplayer die zelfstandig kan werken. Je komt terecht in een team met 1 à 2 andere operatoren, een chef operator en verantwoordelijke.
  • Je bent flexibel en mobiel, je hebt technisch inzicht, verantwoordelijkheidszin en veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Je hebt geen last van hoogtevrees.
  • Je bent bereid om in alle weersomstandigheden zowel binnen als buiten te werken.
