Als Ervaren Utilities Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de utilities die nodig zijn om productieprocessen en industriële installaties optimaal te laten functioneren. Je analyseert de behoefte van de klant, werkt technische oplossingen uit en begeleidt deze mee richting uitvoering.

• Je inventariseert en analyseert de utiliteitsbehoeften van procesinstallaties en productieruimtes

• Je dimensioneert en berekent nutsvoorzieningen zoals koude, stoom, water en elektriciteit

• Je werkt technische concepten en specificaties uit op basis van de behoeften van de klant

• Je selecteert geschikte systemen en componenten in overleg met leveranciers en machinebouwers

• Je adviseert klanten over energie-efficiënte en duurzame oplossingen voor bestaande en nieuwe installaties

• Je onderzoekt mogelijke vervangings- en optimalisatieprojecten en helpt de financiële haalbaarheid ervan onderbouwen

• Je begeleidt de technische uitvoering van projecten

• Je werkt nauw samen met engineers uit andere disciplines binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams

• Je bent regelmatig aanwezig bij klanten en op projectlocaties verspreid over Vlaanderen

Voor de functie van Ervaren Utilities Engineer zoeken we een technisch sterke engineer met ervaring binnen industriële utilities. Je hoeft niet in élke technologie specialist te zijn, maar hebt wel een grondige kennis van één of meerdere nutsvoorzieningen en begrijpt hoe deze binnen een industriële installatie samenwerken.

• Je beschikt over een masterdiploma elektromechanica, industriële wetenschappen of een andere relevante technische richting

• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante technische ervaring

• Je hebt kennis van één of meerdere industriële utilities zoals warmtepompen, koelinstallaties, stoomketels, koeltorens, waterbehandeling, waterzuivering, cryogene gassen of biogassystemen

• Je begrijpt de opbouw van technische installaties en kunt verschillende systemen en componenten beoordelen

• Je denkt analytisch en systeemgericht en vertaalt technische vraagstukken naar praktische oplossingen

• Je kunt technische concepten duidelijk toelichten aan klanten, leveranciers en collega's

• Je bent bereid om regelmatig naar klanten en projectlocaties te gaan

• Een goede Nederlandse taalkennis is een must
