The posting

Deze eventlocatie bevindt zich aan de westelijke kanten van Brussel , op een boogscheut van de Brusselse ring en is zodoende zeer goed bereikbaar. Eens je op de site toekomt merk je niets meer van de drukte en waan je je in een groene oase van rust. Met de warme uitstraling van het pand en de prachtige tuin is dit de ideale locatie voor trouwfeesten, maar de laatste jaren vinden ook zakelijke klanten de weg naar het bedrijf. Zowel zomers als in de winter staat het gedreven team klaar om ieder event van high-end service te voorzien. De locatie is voorzien van een zeer gastronomische keuken en de chef zorgt bij ieder event voor een passende culinaire omkadering.

Taken

Als Head Chef ben je verantwoordelijk voor een goed verloop van de verschillende evenementen. Deze locatie werkt in een brede keukenstructuur met 3 hoofdchefs met elk hun eigen verantwoordelijkheid.. Voor deze rol zoeken we iemand die de Operationele Events in goede banen kan begeleiden.

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van de keuken tijdens de evenementen
  • Je staat in voor de voorbereiding, mise-en-place en bereiding van gerechten volgens de afgesproken menu’s en kwaliteitsnormen
  • Je stuurt het keukenteam aan en zorgt voor een vlotte taakverdeling tijdens de service
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, presentatie en timing van alle gerechten die de keuken verlaten
  • Je denkt mee over menu’s en bereidingen en brengt waar mogelijk eigen ideeën en creativiteit aan
  • Je zorgt voor een efficiënte organisatie van de keuken en houdt rekening met de planning van verschillende evenementen
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de zaalverantwoordelijke en het eventteam om elk feest gastronomisch vlot te laten verlopen
  • Je springt indien nodig zelf operationeel bij en bent een zichtbare en meewerkende chef op de werkvloer
