Voor een klant van ons te Genk zoeken wij een expediteur.

Het takenpakket:

  • Je maakt voor je klant de juiste keuze in transportoplossing, rekening houdend met kostprijs en duur van het type vervoer
  • Je maakt de Europese transportplanning en plant routes
  • Dagelijks sta je in voor contact met chauffeurs, onderaannemers en jouw collega’s
  • Met transportfirma’s en onderaannemers onderhandel je over tarieven
  • Je staat in voor de opvolging van import- en exportzendingen binnen Europa, GB, IE, …
  • Je beheerst de volledige flow en de wettelijke formaliteiten zoals ADR
  • Je onderhoudt uitstekende internationale contacten en bouwt je netwerk (verder) uit
  • Je behandelt opvolgingsvragen van klanten Je werkt in dagdienst.

Profiel

Jouw profiel:

  • Je bouwt uitstekende kennis op van de transportmarkt, waardoor je vertrouwd raakt met de algemeen geldende tarieven
  • Je hebt kennis van ADR en douaneformaliteiten, of je bent bereid hierover (bij) te leren
  • Je klantvriendelijke aanpak is je grootste troef
  • Je kan goed om met stress bv. bij last minute wijzigen en behoudt het overzicht
  • Je hebt zeer goede kennis NL en EN
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP
  • Kennis FR of DE is mooi meegenomen maar is geen vereiste
  • Je werkt vlot met de MS Office toepassingen
  • Milieu, kwaliteit en veiligheid draag je hoog in het vaandel
  • Je werkt vlot samen met naaste collega’s en met andere afdelingen
  • Je beschikt over goede geografische kennis binnen Europa
  • Je bent commercieel ingesteld en resultaatgericht
