Jobomschrijving

Als Expediteur ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie en opvolging van nationale en internationale transporten en fungeer je als aanspreekpunt voor klanten, vervoerders en interne stakeholders.

Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Organiseren en coördineren van transporten via weg, spoor, zee en lucht
  • Operationele opvolging van transporten (o.a. afvaarten, railcars, VGM)
  • Opmaken en verwerken van transport- en verschepingsdocumenten (o.a. Bill of Lading, Letter of Instruction, Dispatch Advices, Mate’s Receipts)
  • Ontvangen en verwerken van douanedocumenten
  • Beheer en actualisatie van transportinformatie en procedures (o.a. in SharePoint)
  • Opstellen en versturen van container- en cargolijsten
  • Klanten informeren over kosten, transittijden en status van zendingen
  • Zorgen voor een correcte administratie en vlotte overdracht binnen het team

Wie ben jij?

  • Minimum A2-diploma behaald
  • Minimum 2–5 jaar relevante ervaring als Freight Forwarder of in een gelijkaardige rol
  • Sterke operationele kennis van freight forwarding en logistieke processen
  • Kennis van transportdocumentatie en IT-systemen
  • IMDG-certificaat (gevaarlijke goederen) is een sterke troef
  • Vlot in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Nauwkeurig, stressbestendig, klantgericht en communicatief sterk
  • In staat om zelfstandig te werken en prioriteiten te beheren
