Locatie Barendrecht RR recruitment B.V. Voor onze vestiging in Barendrecht zijn wij op zoek naar een Expediteur met bij voorkeur enkele jaren werkervaring. Door sterke groei en nieuwe klanten breiden wij ons forwarding team uit. Krijg jij energie van het organiseren van transport door heel Europa, scherp inkopen en daarna een goede verkoop maken? Ben je een echte logistiekeling die zich verder wil ontwikkelen? Dan is deze rol binnen ons kleinschalige en energieke forwarding team mogelijk jouw volgende stap. Vos Logistics is specialist in transport en klantspecifieke logistieke diensten. Met een netwerk van 35 eigen vestigingen zijn wij actief in heel Europa. Ruim 2.400 medewerkers werken met een moderne vloot van 1.000 voertuigen, 3.700 laadeenheden en 275.000 m² opslagcapaciteit. Ons uitgangspunt is steeds hetzelfde: logistiek eenvoudig, efficiënt en beheersbaar maken voor onze klanten. In Barendrecht hebben wij een compact forwarding kantoor met circa vijftien medewerkers, ontstaan vanuit onze hoofdvestiging in Oss. Het is een groeiende locatie met korte lijnen, waar we intensief samenwerken en elkaar makkelijk weten te vinden. Het team Forwarding bestaat uit vijf collega's en organiseert transport naar vrijwel alle Europese landen. Het gaat voornamelijk om wegtransport (circa 90%), aangevuld met incidenteel ocean en air. Daarnaast hebben we een apart transportteam voor de stromen van en naar Italië. Functieomschrijving Als Expediteur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het organiseren van transportoplossingen binnen Europa, met een sterke focus op Oost-Europa, Frankrijk en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Je werkt veel met LTL zendingen en zet vrachten weg tegen een zo goed mogelijke marge. Dagelijks koop en verkoop je vrachten en schakel je continu met vervoerders, partners en collega's. Het inkopen en verkopen doe je grotendeels met een vaste poule vervoerders waarmee je actief onderhandelt. De telefoon pakken hoort daar nadrukkelijk bij...
