Voor een van de grootste internationale spelers in maritieme logistiek en containervervoer zijn we op zoek naar een Expediteur Gevaarlijke Goederen die de veilige en correcte afhandeling van gevaarlijke goederen mee in goede banen leidt.

Onze klant groeit sterk en zet volop in op innovatie en een sterkere lokale rol binnen de wereldwijde supply chain. Jij wordt de vaste expert voor alles wat met Dangerous Goods te maken heeft, voor de afdelingen Import, Export en Transshipment. Je combineert administratie met operationeel werk, schakelt dagelijks met autoriteiten, terminals en kapiteins, en weet dat jouw werk een directe impact heeft op veiligheid in de shipping. Geen dag is hetzelfde, en dat is precies wat deze job zo boeiend maakt.

Wat ga je doen?

  • De volledige afhandeling van gevaarlijke goederen opvolgen voor de interne afdelingen Import, Export en Transshipment
  • Optreden als interne adviseur voor alle vragen rond Dangerous Goods en collega's ondersteunen tijdens het boekingsproces
  • De Dangerous Goods administratie correct en tijdig verwerken, van IMO-labels tot aanvragen voor verlengd verblijf
  • DGD's (Dangerous Goods Declarations) controleren en labeldiscrepanties opsporen en rechtzetten
  • Gevaarlijke goederen aangeven bij de bevoegde autoriteiten
  • Het laden van DG-lading op partnerschepen opvolgen en coördineren
  • Hazmat-inspecties uitvoeren en ontbrekende DG-manifesten opmaken wanneer er iets niet klopt
  • Incidenten coördineren en snel de juiste stappen zetten om ze op te lossen
  • Meewerken aan interne veiligheids- en complianceprogramma's rond gevaarlijke goederen
  • Het centrale aanspreekpunt zijn voor autoriteiten, partners, vessel masters, de terminal en interne teams
  • Rapporteren aan de Dangerous Goods Teamleader
  • Een bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur in logistiek, transport of maritieme richting, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Minstens 2 jaar ervaring binnen de maritieme sector, shipping of havenlogistiek
  • Ervaring met IMO-regelgeving is een duidelijke troef
  • In het bezit van IMDG- en CODEX-certificaten is een pluspunt
  • Nauwkeurig en gestructureerd, want in deze job telt elk detail
  • Sterk in prioriteiten stellen en rustig onder druk, ook wanneer deadlines dichtbij komen
  • Oplossingsgericht: jij ziet een probleem als iets dat je gewoon oplost
  • Communicatief sterk en in staat om vlot goede relaties op te bouwen met interne en externe contacten
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Een echte teamplayer die graag samen dossiers tot een goed einde brengt
