Ben jij een ervaren expediteur die op zoek is naar een uitdagende tijdelijke opdracht waarbij je van dag één impact maakt en jouw volledige expertise kan inzetten? Voor een toonaangevende speler in de logistieke sector zijn we op zoek naar een Freight Forwarder (Interim) die de volledige coördinatie en opvolging van nationale en internationale transporten op zich neemt via weg, spoor, zee én lucht.

In deze rol ben jij de spilfiguur tussen klanten, vervoerders en interne teams. Je beheert complexe transportdossiers, verwerkt verschepingsdocumenten en zorgt ervoor dat elke zending correct, tijdig en efficiënt wordt afgehandeld. Geen twee dagen zijn hetzelfde en dat is precies wat deze opdracht zo boeiend maakt.

Dit is jouw kans om jouw operationele knowhow in te zetten binnen een professionele en internationale omgeving, met de vrijheid van flexibele werktijden en de mogelijkheid tot 2 dagen telewerk per week na de inwerkperiode. Een tijdelijke functie van 6 maanden die je de ruimte geeft om jezelf te bewijzen en je netwerk verder uit te bouwen in de logistieke sector.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Organiseren en coördineren van transporten via weg, spoor, zee en lucht
  • Operationele opvolging van transporten zoals afvaarten, railcars en VGM
  • Opmaken en verwerken van transport- en verschepingsdocumenten, waaronder Bill of Lading, Letter of Instruction, Dispatch Advices en Mate's Receipts
  • Ontvangen en verwerken van douanedocumenten
  • Beheren en actualiseren van transportinformatie en procedures, onder andere in SharePoint
  • Opstellen en versturen van container- en cargolijsten
  • Klanten informeren over kosten, transittijden en status van zendingen
  • Zorgen voor een correcte administratie en vlotte overdracht binnen het team
  • Bachelordiploma in logistiek, supply chain, Internationale handel of gelijkwaardig
  • Bachelordiploma in logistiek, supply chain, internationale handel of gelijkwaardig
  • Minimum 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring als Freight Forwarder, Expediteur of in een gelijkaardige rol
  • Sterke operationele kennis van freight forwarding en logistieke processen
  • Kennis van transportdocumentatie en IT-systemen
  • IMDG-certificaat voor gevaarlijke goederen is een sterke troef
  • Vlotte communicatie in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Nauwkeurig, stressbestendig, klantgericht en communicatief sterk
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en prioriteiten beheren
  • Beschikbaar voor een interim opdracht van 6 maanden, startdatum zo snel mogelijk
