Onze klant is een bekende internationale logistieke speler met een vestiging in de regio Geel. Zij verzorgen transport- en logistieke oplossingen voor heel uiteenlopende sectoren, van de farmaceutische en medische wereld tot de bouw en diervoedingssector. Wegens aanhoudende groei en een uitbreidend klantenbestand zoeken zij versterking voor hun hechte en jonge team van een tiental expediteurs.

In deze rol als Expediteur Wegtransport ben je van A tot Z verantwoordelijk voor het vlot en efficiënt organiseren van internationale wegtransporten. Je beheert zendingen van enkele pallets tot volle vrachten binnen voornamelijk de Benelux, Frankrijk en Duitsland. Jij bent de centrale spil die dagelijks schakelt tussen klanten en vervoerders, tarieven onderhandelt en zorgt dat elke vracht stipt en correct op zijn bestemming geraakt.

Functieomschrijving

  • Plannen, organiseren en opvolgen van internationale wegtransporten.
  • Volledig onderhandelen van scherpe tarieven met klanten en externe vervoerders.
  • Opmaken en afgeven van accurate prijsvoorstellen aan voornamelijk Belgische en internationale klanten.
  • Het administratief voorbereiden en correct zetten van de facturatiegegevens.
  • Snel en oplossingsgericht bijsturen bij onvoorziene situaties op de baan.

Profiel

  • Ervaring als expediteur over de weg of in het maritieme.
  • Ervaring met het opmaken van tarieven en het zelfstandig voeren van onderhandelingen.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als een nauwkeurige organisator die stressbestendig is, snel beslissingen durft te nemen en administratief strak werkt.
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig en je woont bij voorkeur in de regio Geel of de kempen voor een vlotte verplaatsing.
