Ben jij de maritime logistics expert die goederen de wereld over wil brengen? Die van complexe zeevrachtzendingen een naadloos proces maakt en waar klanten, rederijen en interne teams op kunnen rekenen? Voor onze klant, een toonaangevende speler in de internationale freight forwarding en maritime logistics, zoeken we een Zeevracht Expediteur die zendingen van A tot Z beheerst en het verschil maakt in de dagelijkse supply chain.

Je bent meer dan een coördinator. Je bent de centrale spil die klantverzoeken omzet in perfecte uitvoering, documentatie vakkundig afhandelt en elk dossier tot een succesvol einde brengt. Van boekingen tot facturatie, van douanedocumenten tot eindbestemming: jij houdt overzicht in een sector waar precisie en snelheid even belangrijk zijn.

Wat ga je doen

  • Dagelijks communiceren met klanten, leveranciers en overseas agenten via mail en telefoon om alle zendingsdetails af te stemmen en problemen direct op te lossen
  • Boekingen plaatsen bij vervoerders en rederijen, steeds gericht op optimale routing, timing en kosteneffectiviteit van zeevrachten
  • Expeditiedossiers volledig afhandelen van intake tot facturatie, inclusief controle en beoordeling van leveranciersfacturen en factuurdisputering waar nodig
  • Alle relevante documentatie bijeen brengen, organiseren en archiveren: waivers, vergunningen, certificaten, handelspapieren en transportdocumenten
  • Letter of Credit interpreteren, controleren en verwerken volgens strenge internationale richtlijnen en bankvoorwaarden
  • Douane-instructies opmaken en douanedocumenten controleren voor correctheid, compliance en tijdige indiening
  • Transporten inplannen en zendingen consequent opvolgen tot eindbestemming, met aandacht voor alle tussentijdse stappen
  • Problemen proactief signaleren en oplossingsgericht handelen wanneer er vertraging, beschadiging of onvoorziene situaties zijn
  • Minimaal twee jaar praktische ervaring als Freight Forwarder Ocean of in een gelijkwaardige rol binnen maritime logistics en zeevracht
  • Solide kennis van IMDG en GDP regelgeving om veilige en regelmatige afhandeling van gevaarlijke en bederfelijke goederen te waarborgen
  • Uitgebreide kennis van Incoterms en internationale handelsvoorwaarden
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, met klanten en zakenpartners
  • Sterke klantgerichte mentaliteit en vermogen om onder druk rustig en oplossingsgericht te handelen
  • Praktische kennis van of bereidheid om snel systemen als IRIS en CargoWise onder de knie te krijgen
  • Vloeiende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, sterke kennis van Frans is een grote meerwaarde
  • Nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail bij complexe expeditiedossiers met veel documentatie
  • Zelfstandig werkend vermogen met een collaboratieve houding tegenover collega's
