Ben jij een gedreven zeevracht expediteur met een passie voor internationale logistiek en wil je werken in een omgeving waar jouw expertise écht het verschil maakt? Voor een toonaangevende speler in de zeevrachtsector in Antwerpen zijn we op zoek naar een Zeevracht Expediteur Import & Export, ook bekend als Sea Freight Forwarder, Ocean Freight Specialist, Maritime Logistics Coördinator of Expediteur Zeevracht, die de volledige coördinatie van zeevrachtzendingen in handen neemt en zorgt dat zendingen efficiënt, compliant en op tijd worden afgehandeld.

In deze rol ben jij de spilfiguur tussen klanten, leveranciers, vervoerders en autoriteiten. Je beheert zowel import- als exportdossiers van A tot Z en draagt bij aan een vlekkeloze internationale goederenstroom. Jouw proactieve aanpak, oog voor kwaliteit en commercieel inzicht maken het verschil in een dynamische omgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Coördineren van import- én exportdossiers van A tot Z en bewaken van kwaliteit en compliance doorheen het volledige proces
  • Beheren van communicatie met klanten, leveranciers en autoriteiten in binnen- en buitenland
  • Controleren van dossiers op naleving van regelgeving, businessprocessen en winstgevendheid
  • Beheren van zendingen met gevaarlijke goederen voor zowel import als export
  • Coördineren van werkzaamheden tussen kantoorpersoneel en derdepartijmagazijnen
  • Zorgen voor correcte overdracht van documenten aan klanten en autoriteiten
  • Signaleren van knelpunten en proactief oplossingen implementeren
  • Onderhandelen met lokale vervoerders en opstellen van tariefvoorstellen en offertes
  • Samenwerken met andere afdelingen om activiteiten optimaal af te stemmen op de bedrijfsprocessen
  • Beslissingen nemen op basis van analyse, ervaring en gezond verstand
  • Rapporteren van serviceproblemen en verbetervoorstellen aan het management
  • Bachelordiploma in logistiek, supply chain, internationale handel of gelijkwaardig
  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Zeevracht Expediteur, Sea Freight Forwarder, Ocean Freight Specialist of in een gelijkaardige functie binnen zeevracht en freight forwarding
  • Ervaring met zowel import als export is een grote troef
  • Grondige kennis van internationale en nationale procedures, trucking en magazijndiensten
  • Ervaring met compliance, regelgeving en bewust van de vereisten rond gevaarlijke goederen
  • Uitstekende organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Nauwkeurig, detailgericht en stressbestendig
  • Zelfstandig ingesteld maar ook een echte teamplayer
