Als extern lid van de auditcommissie adviseer je het Algemeen Bestuur van Veiligheidsregio Fryslân over vraagstukken op het gebied van bedrijfsvoering, informatiemanagement en informatiebeveiliging. Zo lever je een onafhankelijke bijdrage aan goed bestuur binnen een maatschappelijk belangrijke organisatie. Dit ga je doen Als extern lid van de auditcommissie adviseer je het Algemeen Bestuur over financiële en bedrijfsvoeringsvraagstukken. Je neemt ongeveer vier tot vijf keer per jaar deel aan de vergaderingen van de auditcommissie. Tijdens deze vergaderingen beoordeel je voorstellen op doelmatigheid en rechtmatigheid en stel je kritische vragen. Ook denk je mee over de verdere ontwikkeling van de planning- en controlcyclus en over de evaluatie van de werkzaamheden van de accountant. Vanuit jouw expertise adviseer je over strategische vraagstukken rondom informatiemanagement en informatiebeveiliging. Je hebt oog voor de kansen en risico's van digitalisering en helpt de organisatie om haar cyberweerbaarheid en informatievoorziening verder te versterken. Daarmee draag je bij aan een goede interne beheersing en een toekomstbestendige organisatie. En er is meer: - Je adviseert over risico's op het gebied van informatiemanagement en informatiebeveiliging. - Je denkt mee over digitalisering, data en cyberweerbaarheid. - Je levert een bijdrage aan het versterken van het risicomanagement. - Je toetst voorstellen vanuit een onafhankelijke rol. Jouw team Je maakt deel uit van de auditcommissie van Veiligheidsregio Fryslân.
