Kansis Over de organisatie 'Iedereen doet mee' is een belangrijk motto voor de stichting Kansis en stichting Kansis Groen. Hoewel bij Kansis gemeente Stichtse Vecht de enige deelnemer is, maakt gemeente De Ronde Venen ook gebruik van de diensten van Kansis. Bij KansisGroen zijn zowel gemeente Stichtse Vecht en de gemeente De Ronde Venen deelnemer in de stichting en gunnen zij ook het gemeentelijk werk in de openbare ruimte. De stichtingen kennen beide een Raad van Commissarissen uit de gemeenten met een wethouder en ambtelijk vertegenwoordiger van beide gemeenten. De wethouder van Stichtse Vecht is voorzitter van beide Raden van Commissarissen. Daarnaast kennen beide Raden ook één extern lid. De Raden van Commissarissen komen bijeen in één vergadering met een separate agenda. De inhoudelijke opdrachtgever van Kansis is de wethouder Werk en Inkomen van de gemeente Stichtse Vecht. De commissarissen zijn niet de inhoudelijk opdrachtgever namens de gemeenten en hebben derhalve een onafhankelijke positie. Het zijn twee stichtingen en toch is Kansis en Kansis Groen één organisatie. Bij Kansis en Kansis Groen werken mensen met een WSW-dienstverband en mensen vanuit de Participatiewet. Daarnaast volgen veel inwoners er een traject om te komen tot participatie, inburgering en/of duurzaam werk. De komende jaren staan in het teken van de verdere doorontwikkeling van Kansis en Kansis Groen om een robuuste organisatie te blijven met een toename van medewerkers, doorstroom van medewerkers naar reguliere werkgevers, groei van externe opdrachtgevers en verbreding van het werkaanbod.
