Dat is het hoofddoel van de BuurtBakkie Tuindag op zaterdag 17 oktober in Andijk. Voor deze dag worden extra vrijwilligers gezocht die samen met bewoners, andere vrijwilligers en professionele hoveniers aan de slag willen. Tegelijkertijd is de BuurtBakkie Tuindag een mooie gelegenheid voor buurtbewoners om elkaar (beter) te leren kennen. Want samen werken aan de tuinen betekent ook samen werken aan een fijne buurt. Tijdens de BuurtBakkie Tuindag worden tuinen aangepakt van woningen van Het Grootslag in de Julianastraat, Beatrixstraat, Bernhardstraat, Sportlaan en delen van Sorghvlietlaan. Denk aan snoeien, opruimen, onkruid verwijderen en andere tuinklussen. Professionele hoveniers zijn aanwezig om te adviseren en mee te helpen. Ook zijn er gereedschappen beschikbaar en staan er containers klaar voor groenafval en grofvuil. Niet iedere bewoner kan zijn of haar tuin gemakkelijk zelf onderhouden. Met een groep vrijwilligers kan er in één dag veel werk worden verzet. Daarom zijn extra handen van harte welkom. Je hoeft geen ervaren tuinier te zijn. Wie graag buiten bezig is, het leuk vindt om samen te werken en een buurtbewoner wil helpen, kan aansluiten. Van 10.00 tot 14.00 uur staat het BuurtBakkie op het terrein van The Future aan de Sportlaan 1 in Andijk. Daar kunnen bewoners, vrijwilligers en andere betrokkenen terecht voor koffie en thee, een praatje en rond lunchtijd iets lekkers. Help je zaterdag 17 oktober mee?
