Fabrication Engineer QuantWare Full-time Delft, Netherlands QuantWare is building the world's most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors. With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don't shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That's where you come in! We are looking for a Fabrication Engineer to support our quantum device production within our Operations team. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the processes that turn design into reality. You will operate, optimize, and maintain fabrication equipment used to produce our superconducting devices. Your work ensures high-quality, reproducible results and enables the scaling of our production. What you'll be doing - Wafer-scale fabrication/Tool operation: Operate and take ownership of specific cleanroom processes (e.g., sputtering, etching, evaporation) and ensure they remain in optimal condition for superconducting device. - Process development: Work closely with R&D to transfer and standardize new fabrication processes for production. - Yield improvement: Collect and analyze process data to identify root causes and improve fabrication yield and reproducibility. - Documentation & standardization: Maintain clear process documentation, recipes, and SOPs to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing. Your profile - Experience in an industrial or academic cleanroom. - Basic knowledge of semiconductor or superconducting device fabrication . - Excellent communication skills , able to collaborate effectively across R&D and production teams. - Organized & detail-oriented , able to document your work clearly and follow established p...
