Erasmus MC · Rotterdam Functie inhoud Als fellow in de musculoskeletale radiologie krijg je de ruimte om je te specialiseren binnen een team dat de volledige breedte van de musculoskeletale diagnostiek op het hoogste niveau uitvoert met de meest moderne beeldvormende technieken. Je draagt bij aan onderwijs, onderzoek en hoogwaardige zorg. We bieden een goed georganiseerd fellowship met veel ruimte voor verdieping in je vakgebied. Je bent voor minimaal 60% werkzaam binnen het aandachtsgebied musculoskeletale radiologie. Naast de klinische werkzaamheden speel je een actieve rol in de opleiding en begeleiding van arts-assistenten radiologie en studenten geneeskunde en klinische technologie. Daarnaast bieden we je de kans om bij te dragen aan onderzoek en organisatorische taken, zodat je je niet-vakinhoudelijke competenties verder kunt ontwikkelen. Na een gedegen inwerkperiode op de afdeling en op de spoedeisende hulp neem je deel aan de dienstenpool als achterwacht. De duur van dit fellowship is vastgesteld conform de richtlijnen van de NVvR. Werkomgeving De afdeling Radiologie & Nucleaire Geneeskunde van het Erasmus MC is een van de grootse afdelingen van Nederland. Op de afdeling werken zo'n 60 stafleden en fellows en ruim 25 arts-assistenten in opleiding. Het aandachtsgebied musculoskeletale radiologie bestaat uit een hecht team van 8 vaste stafleden en 1 à 2 fellows die nauw en gedreven met elkaar samenwerken. Speerpunten van het aandachtsgebied zijn o.a. sportletsels, weke delen tumoren, hybride beeldvorming en, metabole botziekten. We werken nauw samen met collega-specialisten zoals bijvoorbeeld orthopeden, sportartsen, traumatologen en oncologisch chirurgen met als doel om optimale zorg te leveren voor patiënten met sportletsels, complexe orthopedische problematiek en musculoskeletale tumoren.
