Bij een internationale leverancier van laboratoriumautomatisering werk je aan liquidhandling- en detectieapparatuur voor laboratoria. Als Field Automation Specialist combineer je service en installatie met het ontwikkelen van applicaties volgens klantspecificaties. Je bezoekt klanten in de Benelux en ondersteunt incidenteel projecten in andere Europese regio’s. Je onderzoekt storingen, voert preventief onderhoud uit en zorgt dat instrumenten betrouwbaar inzetbaar blijven. Daarbij kijk je zowel naar de technische werking als naar de toepassing binnen het laboratoriumproces. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je werkzaamheden aan instrumenten af met softwarevragen, klanttrainingen en het vastleggen van servicebevindingen. Je plant bezoeken op basis van urgentie en contractafspraken en beheert je eigen onderdelenvoorraad. Hoewel je zelfstandig op locatie werkt, stem je regelmatig af met servicespecialisten, applicatiecollega’s en het Europese serviceteam. Via technische trainingen, workshops en het delen van praktijkervaring verdiep je je kennis van apparatuur, instrumentsoftware en laboratoriumtoepassingen. Functie-inhoud - Diagnosticeer en verhelp storingen aan liquidhandling- en detectieapparatuur bij klanten. - Installeer instrumenten en voer preventief onderhoud en upgrades uit. - Ontwikkel en lever applicaties volgens klantspecificaties, acceptatiecriteria en afgesproken deadlines. - Train gebruikers in bediening, onderhoud en instrumentsoftware. - Plan servicebezoeken en registreer werkzaamheden, uren, onderdelenverbruik en klantacceptatie. - Beheer je onderdelenvoorraad en stem complexe problemen af met het Europese serviceteam en leveranciers. - Ondersteun productdemonstraties en kwaliteitsactiviteiten en deel technische kennis met collega’s.
