The posting

We zijn op zoek naar een Field Service Engineer om volledig nieuwe installaties te helpen opstarten (commissioning) bij diverse bedrijven en industriën. Het bedrijf is specialist in geautomatiseerde totaaloplossingen en -diensten voor industriële codering en identificatie. Ze zijn gekend voor een professionele en volledige serviceverlening van hoog niveau. Daarnaast worden hun service engineers zeer goed ondersteund op vlak van werkmateriaal, planning, en comfortbehoeften. Je werkt voor 90% van de tijd op de serviceregio regio West-Vlaanderen, Oost-Vlaanderen. Je start onder een meteen vast contract onbepaalde duur. Dezelfde vacature wordt ook aangeboden voor kandidaten uit regio West-Vlaanderen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als field service engineer word je nauw betrokken bij het realiseren van volledig nieuwe investeringsprojecten bij klanten.
  • Je staat in voor de installatie en opstart - commissioning - van volledig nieuwe systemen en lijnen voor industriële codering en product identificatie (van het A-merksegment).
  • Gemiddeld werk je twee tot vier dagen actief aan projecten bij de klant, dit wissel je af met dringende interventies.
  • Je komt terecht binnen zeer gevarieerde sectoren zoals voeding, metaal, bouwmateriaal, logistiek, extrusie, automotive, pharma, plantenteelt,...
  • Je staat in voor de uitlijning en conditionering van de systemen, al dan niet met een ondersteunende service engineer.
  • Je integreert de machines in het geautomatiseerd digitaal communicatienetwerk van de klant zijn productieapparaat.
  • Waar nodig, en afhankelijk van jouw kennis, configureer je de PLC's volgens de gewenste functionaliteiten.
  • Je zorgt voor een fijne afregeling, test de installatie en staat in voor een kwalitatieve oplevering.
  • Je geeft kwalitatieve opleiding en training over de werking van de machines aan eindgebruikers en engineers van de eindklant.
  • Je hebt een technische diploma Elektromechanica of Mechanica, of je bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je bent vooral technisch gemotiveerd en leergierig om jezelf te ontplooien tot technisch expert.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis mechanica en fijnmechanica, aangevuld met een goede basiskennis van elektriciteit.
  • Technische kennis van automatisatie en PLC-sturingen zijn interessante pluspunten maar geen noodzakelijkheid.
  • Je combineert een technisch logisch inzicht met sterke hands-on vaardigheden.
  • Je ziet problemen als een uitdaging en haalt voldoening uit het oplossen van technische vraagstukken.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, werkt ordelijk en nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en wenst steeds kwaliteit af te leveren. Je bent trots op je werk.
  • Je beschikt over vaardigheden om met klanten en engineers op een professionele manier te communiceren.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en kan je voldoende goed uitdrukken in het Frans en Engels.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
