Als Field Service Engineer Offshore werk je mee aan het onderhoud en de inbedrijfstelling van hoogwaardige hijssystemen en handlingapparatuur op offshore locaties. Als Field Service Engineer Offshore ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van onderhoudswerkzaamheden, inspecties en reparaties aan hijs- en handlingapparatuur op offshore locaties. Je werkt voornamelijk op zee, op platforms en installaties waar de apparatuur is geïnstalleerd. Je voert werkzaamheden uit volgens vastgestelde procedures en technische specificaties, en rapporteert bevindingen en uitgevoerde handelingen nauwkeurig. Je begint met het voorbereiden van de werkzaamheden aan de wal: het doornemen van technische documentatie, het samenstellen van benodigde gereedschappen en onderdelen, en het afstemmen van de planning met collega's en klanten. Vervolgens reis je af naar de offshore locatie, waar je de apparatuur inspecteert, storingen analyseert en onderhoud uitvoert. Je werkt daarbij volgens veiligheidsvoorschriften en kwaliteitsnormen die gelden in de offshore industrie. Na afloop van de werkzaamheden stel je rapportages op en bespreek je de bevindingen met de klant en je leidinggevende. Je werkt nauw samen met ervaren collega's die je begeleiden bij complexere vraagstukken en je helpen om je technische kennis en vaardigheden verder uit te bouwen. Naarmate je meer ervaring opdoet, krijg je stapsgewijs meer verantwoordelijkheid en word je zelfstandiger in het uitvoeren van opdrachten.
