Onze klant behoort tot een internationale groep en is een van de grootste spelers op vlak van mechanische engineering (procestechnieken, machines en componenten), dit voor verschillende sectoren.

Ter versterking van het service team zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste Field Service Engineer.

Jobomschrijving

Na een grondige opleiding ben je als Field Service Engineer actief over heel België en werk je meestal in tandem met een andere collega. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstarten, onderhouden en de herstellen van roterende productie-installaties bij klanten, dit in diverse sectoren (voeding, farma, chemie, landbouw,...). Hier komt hoofdzakelijk mechanisch werk bij kijken. Na de uitgevoerde werken maak je een gedetailleerd verslag en rapporteert dit aan de klant en interne back-office. Eén keer per maand komt heel het service team samen voor een follow-up meeting.

De Field Service Engineer die wij zoeken heeft bij voorkeur een technisch diploma (richting elektromechanica, Mechanica, Onderhoudstechnologie,…) of kan ervaring voorleggen in een technische service functie. Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van mechanica (planlezen, lagers, riemen, centrifugale pompen, kleppen,..) en hebt een basiskennis elektriciteit (planlezen, motoren,..). Kennis van meet- en regeltechniek of PLC is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen must. Een flexibele werkhouding is noodzakelijk daar je steeds op de baan vertoeft en je werk- en reisuren niet te voorspellen zijn. Als Field Service Engineer ben jij dagelijks het gezicht van de organisatie en sta je rechtstreeks in contact staat met klanten. Hierbij is het belangrijk dat je van nature uit zelfstandig en communicatief bent, alsook een grote zin hebt voor verantwoordelijkheid. Naast het vlot beheersen van de Nederlandse taal, spreek je bij voorkeur een woordje Engels en Frans. Meedraaien in een wachtsysteem (1x om de 6 à 7 weken) is voor jou geen struikelblok.
