Voor een wereldwijde marktleider in industriële was- en textielsystemen zoeken we een Field Service Monteur die het serviceteam in de Benelux versterkt. De organisatie is actief in het ontwerpen, installeren en onderhouden van totaaloplossingen voor grote industriële wasserijen in sectoren zoals gezondheidszorg, horeca en industrie.

Je komt terecht bij een beursgenoteerd bedrijf met hoofdzetel in de regio Gent, waar ook de Benelux-holding is gevestigd. Vanuit kantoren in België en Nederland biedt de onderneming technische ondersteuning aan toonaangevende klanten. Wereldwijd telt de groep zo’n 1.800 medewerkers, verspreid over meer dan 20 landen.

Naast de installatie van geavanceerde machines zorgt de organisatie voor een sterke dienst-na-verkoop, waarbij persoonlijke technische ondersteuning en probleemoplossing centraal staan. Als Field Service Monteur sta jij mee in voor deze cruciale dienstverlening en vorm je het gezicht van het bedrijf bij de klant.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Vertrekken van thuis uit naar klanten in België of Nederland, met om de 12 dagen een korte werkweek van 4 dagen in Luxemburg, voor wie houdt van variatie en vrijheid op de baan
  • Keuze tussen grover mechanisch werk in de ‘washroom’ of fijnere technische installaties in de ‘finishing’, jij bepaalt waar jouw kracht ligt
  • Afstellen van machines, meten van parameters, uitvoeren van mechanische aanpassingen en werken met diverse PLC-systemen, af en toe ook programmeren
  • Volop inspraak in je planning, ook voor overnachtingen en interventies, in overleg met collega-techniekers en leidinggevende die zelf uit het werkveld komt
  • Eerste weken meereizen met een ervaren Belgische collega die je stap voor stap inwerkt, zo leer je de klanten, machines en werkmethodes van binnenuit kennen
  • Ervaring of kennis in een elektrisch-technische richting is belangrijker dan een diploma
  • Een bachelor elektromechanica of aanverwante opleiding is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen must
  • Voldoende kennis van elektriciteit en PLC-techniek is vereist om machines zelfstandig te kunnen instellen en aanpassen
