Pauwels werd zo’n 60 jaar geleden opgericht en is nu een volledige dochteronderneming van de beursgenoteerde Electrical Industries Limited Group, een belangrijke speler binnen de transmissie- en distributiemarkt.

De EIC Group exploiteert fabrieken voor transformatoren en schakelapparatuur, met meer dan 14.000 medewerkers.

Pauwels, te Mechelen, is één van de wereldleiders in het ontwerp en de fabricage van innovatieve driefasige distributie- en vermogenstransformatoren, en een snelgroeiende markt van onderstations, geïntegreerde oplossingen en diensten.

Wat wordt er van jou verwacht?

Als Field Service Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden en installeren van transformatoren op locatie bij de klant.

Door jouw job met kennis en kunde uit te voeren help je onze klanten om de levensduur van hun transformator te verlengen en om storingen te voorkomen.

Je voert preventief onderhoud uit, zoals bijvoorbeeld het vervangen van olie, het controleren van de isolatie en het testen van de werking van de transformator. Indien nodig vervang je onderdelen.

Je gaat storingen analyseren en oplossen.

Daarnaast biedt je ook technische ondersteuning aan onze klanten, je beantwoordt hun vragen en je geeft advies.

Op termijn ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor het opleiden en begeleiden van nieuwe medewerkers.

  • Je bent in het bezit van een A2 diploma elektriciteit of electromechanica (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
  • Een eerste werkervaring als technieker is een pluspunt
  • Jouw werk is vaak onvoorspelbaar, daarom ben je flexibel inzetbaarheid. Je kan je daarom perfect vinden in het presteren van bijkomende uren, zowel in binnen- als buitenland
  • Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en het Engels. Frans is een pluspunt
  • Als productspecialist ben je bereid om voortdurend opleidingen en/of bijscholingen te volgen
  • Jouw focus ligt op het vinden van oplossingen en je onderneemt zelfstandig acties dewelke de klanttevredenheid alleen maar kunnen bevorderen
  • Je hecht een groot belang aan veiligheid
  • Je bent je bewust van de kwaliteit van je werk en je streeft het leveren van de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen na
