Voor onze klant te Melsele zoeken wij een Field Service Technician.

Onze klant is actief in geautomatiseerde magazijnoplossingen en installeert systemen bij klanten in de hele Benelux. Denk aan verticale magazijnliften en, naarmate je ervaring groeit, ook transportsystemen, magazijnrobots en andere geautomatiseerde logistieke installaties.

Je start samen met een ervaren collega en krijgt de tijd om de installaties technisch goed te leren kennen. Ook pas afgestudeerden met de juiste technische basis komen in aanmerking.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bouwt en monteert verticale magazijnliften bij klanten in de Benelux.
  • Je voert elektrische en mechanische werkzaamheden uit tijdens de installatie en indienststelling.
  • Je staat mee in voor onderhoud en technische interventies.
  • Je analyseert elektrische en mechanische storingen en zoekt naar de oorzaak.
  • Je lost technische problemen zelfstandig of samen met collega's op.
  • Je registreert interventies en technische bevindingen correct.
  • Je communiceert rechtstreeks met klanten over technische vragen en problemen.
  • Je stemt intern af met onder andere de projectmanagers over planning en uitvoering.
  • Je denkt mee over technische verbeteringen en optimalisaties.
  • Naarmate je kennis groeit, kan je ook werken aan transportsystemen, magazijnrobots en andere geautomatiseerde installaties.

Je krijgt hier ook een duidelijk technisch groeipad. Je start als Field Service Technician, leert de installaties door en door kennen en neemt geleidelijk meer verantwoordelijkheid op de werf. Je kan doorgroeien naar meewerkend werfleider en later naar een ervaren servicetechnieker die complexe storingen zelfstandig oplost.

In die laatste fase hoort ook een 24/7 wachtdienst bij de functie, gemiddeld één week om de zeven weken.

  • Je hebt een bachelor elektromechanica of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Eén tot drie jaar technische ervaring is mooi meegenomen.
  • Ook pas afgestudeerden komen in aanmerking.
  • Je hebt een sterk elektrisch en mechanisch inzicht.
  • Ervaring met intralogistiek of WMS-systemen is een plus, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je zoekt graag uit waarom een installatie niet doet wat ze moet doen.
  • Je wil technisch blijven bijleren en een brede productkennis opbouwen.
  • Je werkt oplossingsgericht en kan logisch troubleshooten.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft zeer goed Nederlands.
  • Je kan vlot communiceren in het Engels.
  • Je kan je plan trekken in het Frans.
  • Je bent klantgericht en communiceert duidelijk.
  • Je bent flexibel naar verplaatsingen en interventies.
  • Je begrijpt dat je werkt bij klanten waar een technische stilstand snel opgelost moet worden.
  • Je wil op termijn meer verantwoordelijkheid opnemen.
