Wat houdt de job in? Finance is voor ons meer dan facturen verwerken en cijfers rapporteren.

We zoeken iemand die mee de financiële ruggengraat van onze organisatie wil bewaken. Iemand die energie haalt uit structuur, eigenaarschap en het gevoel dat de dingen dankzij hem of haar gewoon goed draaien.

Vandaag ligt de focus vooral op operationele finance. Dat betekent dat je mee verantwoordelijk wordt voor financiële administratie, betalingen, credit control en cashflowopvolging.

Geen flashy CFO-verhaal dus. Wel een functie waarin je een directe impact hebt op de dagelijkse werking van de organisatie en waarin je stap voor stap kan doorgroeien naarmate je de business beter leert kennen.

Wat ga je doen? Je zorgt ervoor dat onze financiële processen correct, gestructureerd en tijdig verlopen.

Je neemt eigenaarschap over de operationele finance werking en vormt een belangrijke schakel tussen onze organisatie, externe financiële partner en het management.

Concreet ligt jouw focus op:

  • financiële administratie en factuurverwerking;
  • voorbereiding en opvolging van betalingen;
  • credit control en debiteurenbeheer;
  • cashflowopvolging en financiële risico's;
  • financiële rapportering en KPI-opvolging;
  • procesoptimalisatie en automatisatie.

Waarom deze functie? Omdat je terechtkomt in een omgeving waar je meer ziet dan één stukje van het verhaal.

Je zit dicht bij de business.

Je werkt rechtstreeks samen met mensen die beslissingen nemen.

Je ziet de impact van financiële keuzes op de dagelijkse werking van de organisatie.

En je krijgt de ruimte om processen niet alleen uit te voeren, maar ook mee te verbeteren.

Hoe ziet jouw toekomst eruit? De eerste periode zal vooral draaien rond operationele finance.

Wanneer je de organisatie, cijfers en processen goed kent, kan je stap voor stap meer verantwoordelijkheid opnemen binnen rapportering, procesoptimalisatie, controlling en financiële projecten.

Wat mag je concreet verwachten?

  • Een sleutelrol binnen een groeiende organisatie;

Wie zoeken we?

Geen Finance Manager, maar ook geen Controller.

  • We zoeken iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt over een operationeel financieel proces en daar ownership over wil voelen;
  • Je behaalde een bachelor of master binnen Accountancy, Finance, Handelswetenschappen, TEW of een gelijkaardige economische richting;
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens een eerste relevante ervaring binnen accountancy, audit, boekhouding of finance;
  • je bent administratief sterk en verliest details niet uit het oog;
  • je bent analytisch ingesteld en legt vlot verbanden tussen cijfers en processen;
  • je houdt ervan om overzicht te creëren en structuur te brengen;
  • je krijgt energie van processen die goed georganiseerd zijn.

Ervaring met rapportering, cashflow, credit control of procesoptimalisatie is mooi meegenomen, maar belangrijker vinden we dat je de juiste ingesteldheid hebt en wil meegroeien met de organisatie.
