Ben jij een ervaren accountant die de stap wil zetten naar Financial Controller en energie krijgt van een omgeving in volle groei en verandering? Voor Normec zijn we op zoek naar een Financial Controller Sustainability Belgium. We zoeken iemand die in of dichtbij de regio Wevelgem woont en vanuit daar verantwoordelijkheid opneemt voor de financiële en boekhoudkundige activiteiten van verschillende Normec Sustainability-entiteiten in België.

Normec Sustainability is actief binnen milieuonderzoek, laboratoriumtesting en duurzaamheidsoplossingen en ondersteunt organisaties bij hun duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen. Als onderdeel van een internationale en snelgroeiende groep krijg je de kans om te werken in een omgeving die voortdurend evolueert.

Jouw rol

Dit is een hands-on rol waarin je ownership neemt over de volledige accountingcyclus, van afsluitingen en rapportering tot audits, fiscaliteit en financiële analyses. Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met de Finance Manager Sustainability Belgium, verschillende stakeholders binnen de groep én begeleidt één medewerker binnen het team.

Je krijgt de kans om niet alleen de cijfers mee te beheren, maar ook actief mee te denken over optimalisaties, procesverbeteringen en de verdere professionalisering van de finance-afdeling.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden :

  • Beheren van de boekhouding voor verschillende Normec Sustainability-entiteiten in België.
  • Verantwoordelijk voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Opmaak en controle van financiële rapporteringen en jaarrekeningen.
  • Samenwerken met verschillende stakeholders binnen de groep en, in beperkte mate, met Franse entiteiten.
  • Bewaken van compliance volgens Belgian GAAP.
  • Ondersteunen van btw- en fiscale processen.
  • Coördineren van auditvoorbereidingen en contacten met externe auditors.
  • Meewerken aan budgetten, forecasts en financiële analyses.
  • Financiële resultaten vertalen naar inzichten die de business ondersteunen.
  • Ondersteunen van de integratie van nieuwe entiteiten en het harmoniseren van financiële processen.
  • Coachen, begeleiden en ondersteunen van één collega binnen het finance team.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy, Fiscaliteit of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je beschikt over minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting.
  • Ervaring binnen een consultingomgeving is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, analytisch en hands-on ingesteld.
  • Je neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid en werkt proactief.
  • Je voelt je goed in een dynamische omgeving waar zaken continu in beweging zijn.
  • Je communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en beschikt daarnaast over een goede kennis van Engels. Een goede basis Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Je woont in of dichtbij de regio Wevelgem.
