Als Senior Accountant / Financial Controller fungeer jij als lokale eindverantwoordelijke voor de Belgische en Luxemburgse entiteit, zowel operationeel als strategisch, in lijn met de overall strategie. Je combineert accounting, financial & business controlling en neemt een actieve rol op in het vormgeven van finance in een internationale groeiorganisatie.

  • Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de correcte financiële opvolging van de Belgische en Luxemburgse entiteiten.
  • Je coördineert en bewaakt de volledige maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluiting in samenwerking met het Shared Service Center, welke verantwoordelijk is voor AP/AR.
  • Je staat in voor financiële controles, boekhoudkundige reconciliaties, provisies, voorraadwaarderingen, accruals etc.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de financiële data binnen SAP S/4HANA en zorgt voor een correcte verwerking van financiële transacties.
  • Je neemt ownership over het budget- en forecastproces en ondersteunt de verdere uitbouw van een rolling forecast omgeving.
  • Je analyseert omzet-, marge- en kostenontwikkelingen en vertaalt deze naar concrete inzichten en aanbevelingen voor het management.
  • Je fungeert als financiële business partner voor Sales, Marketing en het Management Team en daagt de organisatie proactief uit op basis van cijfers en analyses.
  • Je ontwikkelt business controlling verder binnen de organisatie en verhoogt de toegevoegde waarde van finance als strategische partner.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het Shared Service Center en onderzoekt opportuniteiten om repetitieve processen verder te automatiseren en centraliseren.
  • Je werkt samen met auditors, banken en externe stakeholders.
  • Je stuurt een finance medewerker aan en coacht deze op vlak van prioriteiten, samenwerking en professionele ontwikkeling.
  • Je speelt een actieve rol in de verdere harmonisatie en optimalisatie van processen binnen de Benelux-organisatie.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Regional Finance Director Benelux.
  • Bachelor of Master in Accountancy, Finance, Handelswetenschappen, Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Minimaal 10 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting, financial controlling of finance management.
  • Sterke boekhoudkundige basis gecombineerd met ervaring in reporting, forecasting en financiële analyses.
  • Ervaring binnen een commerciële, servicegerichte of salesgedreven organisatie is een plus.
  • Goede kennis van SAP (bij voorkeur SAP S/4HANA).
  • Ervaring met Power BI of vergelijkbare reportingtools.
  • Je bent in staat om zowel operationeel als strategisch te denken en dit te vertalen in haalbare objectieven.
  • Je combineert analytische scherpte met een pragmatische en hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je beschikt over voldoende maturiteit, overtuigingskracht en communicatievaardigheden om een geloofwaardige gesprekspartner te zijn voor zowel management als business.
  • Je bent proactief, zelfstandig en neemt spontaan ownership.
  • Ervaring met het coachen of aansturen van medewerkers is een plus.
  • Zeer goede kennis Nederlands en Engels. Goede kennis Frans is een sterke pluspunt.
