Financial/Business Controller (M/V/X)| Regio Gent

Voor een ondernemende vastgoedgroep met diverse participaties is Robert Half op zoek naar een Financial Controller (M/V/X).

In deze strategische financefunctie werk je vanuit het centrale finance team en ondersteun je een brede portefeuille van ondernemingen. Je ontvangt de financiële rapporteringen van de verschillende entiteiten, analyseert de resultaten en daagt de lokale finance teams en directie uit om de prestaties verder te verbeteren. Dankzij jouw analyses en inzichten draag je bij aan de groei en rendabiliteit van de verschillende bedrijven.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je analyseert de financiële resultaten van verschillende vennootschappen en vertaalt cijfers naar heldere managementinzichten.
  • Je challengeert de budgetten, forecasts en financiële aannames van de lokale finance teams en Managing Directors.
  • Je staat in voor de groepsrapportering en zorgt voor een kwalitatieve managementrapportering.
  • Je analyseert P&L's, verklaart varianties en identificeert opportuniteiten om de financiële performantie verder te verbeteren.
  • Je vergelijkt de prestaties van de verschillende bedrijven en ontwikkelt benchmarks rond rendabiliteit, marges en operationele KPI's.
  • Je ondersteunt de uitbouw van forecastingprocessen en bewaakt de kwaliteit van de financiële rapportering.
  • Je werkt mee aan analyses van bestaande en toekomstige participaties en levert financiële input voor strategische beslissingen.
  • Je fungeert als kritische sparringpartner voor zowel het management als de finance verantwoordelijken binnen de verschillende bedrijven.

Jouw profiel

  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma in een economische of financiële richting.
  • Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring binnen audit, transaction services of financial controlling, idealiter opgedaan binnen een externe audit kantoor.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en krijgt energie van het challengen van cijfers en financiële prestaties.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en weet op een constructieve manier in dialoog te gaan met finance professionals en bedrijfsleiders.
  • Je combineert een kritische blik met een ondernemende mindset en neemt graag ownership.
  • Je bent ambitieus en kijkt uit naar een rol waarin je een zichtbare impact hebt op meerdere ondernemingen.
