De context is een industriële omgeving met internationale activiteiten, waar productieprocessen, koststructuren en marges nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. Betrouwbare rapportering en onderbouwde analyses vormen er een essentieel fundament voor verdere professionalisering en efficiëntie.

De Financial & Business Controller neemt een actieve rol op tussen finance en business. In nauwe samenwerking met de Senior Controller en Finance Manager wordt mee gebouwd aan rapportering, analyses en datagedreven sturing, met duidelijke ruimte om inhoudelijk verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en te groeien.

Financial & Business Controller - Functieomschrijving:

  • Het analyseren en interpreteren van financiële en operationele data rond omzet, kosten en marges, met het vertalen van cijfers naar concrete inzichten voor management en operations.
  • Een actieve bijdrage aan budgettering en forecasting, aangevuld met rendabiliteitsanalyses per klant, productgroep, segment of regio.
  • Het opzetten, onderhouden en verbeteren van rapporten en dashboards in Excel en Power BI (en bij voorkeur Microsoft Fabric), inclusief kostprijsanalyses per machine, product of afdeling.

Financial & Business Controller - Profiel:

  • Een sterke financiële basis via een masterdiploma in een economische of financiële richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring, met een goede kennis van BEGAAP en inzicht in IFRS.
  • Een uitgesproken affiniteit met data en systemen, gecombineerd met zeer sterke Excel-vaardigheden en ervaring of interesse in Power BI, Fabric en ERP-omgevingen.
  • Een analytische en kritische mindset, met het vermogen om complexe informatie helder en gestructureerd te communiceren naar niet-financiële stakeholders.
