Als financial controller zorg je voor betrouwbare financiële informatie binnen jouw aandachtsgebied. Je controleert cijfers, analyseert afwijkingen en helpt financiële processen verder te verbeteren. Je bent een belangrijke schakel tussen de financiële administratie, de centrale Dienst Financiën en de verschillende onderdelen van Huisvesting, Vastgoed & Techniek (HV&T). Je kijkt verder dan de cijfers alleen. Je onderzoekt hoe financiële informatie tot stand komt, signaleert risico's en bespreekt afwijkingen met de betrokken collega's. Zo draag je bij aan goede financiële beheersing en betrouwbare verslaglegging. Je houdt je onder andere bezig met: - het opzetten van interne rapportages en het analyseren van financiële overzichten en processen, waarbij je afwijkingen, risico's en knelpunten signaleert en zorgt voor passende opvolging; - het uitvoeren van aansluitingen en correcties tijdens de maand- en jaarafsluiting en het bijhouden van balansdossiers; - het opstellen, controleren en onderbouwen van interne financiële rapportages en informatie voor centraal Financiën en de externe controle; - het verbeteren en stroomlijnen van financiële processen, bijvoorbeeld rond ontvangsten, boekingen en het gebruik van inkoopcategorieën. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's van de financiële administratie, de centrale Dienst Financiën en de verschillende onderdelen van HV&T. Binnen jouw aandachtsgebied ben je een inhoudelijk aanspreekpunt voor financiële vraagstukken.
