Onze klant in de regio Malle is een groeiende en financieel gezonde organisatie waar Finance een belangrijke rol speelt in de verdere groei van het bedrijf. Om het financiële team verder te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een Financial Controller.

In deze functie combineer je een sterke accounting basis met steeds meer analytische en controlling gerichte taken. Je staat mee in voor de volledige financiële opvolging van de organisatie, maar krijgt tegelijk de kans om je verder te ontwikkelen richting controlling. Je hoeft vandaag dus nog geen ervaren Controller te zijn: een stevige kennis van accounting, bij voorkeur van A tot Z en een sterke interesse in analyses en financiële processen zijn belangrijker.

Dankzij de nodige ondersteuning en opleiding krijg je alle ruimte om je kennis verder uit te bouwen en op termijn een bredere controlling rol op te nemen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid over de dagelijkse financiële werking en zorgt ervoor dat de boekhouding correct en tijdig wordt opgevolgd.
  • Je vormt een belangrijk aanspreekpunt binnen Finance.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een correcte en efficiënte closing.
  • Je bereidt de jaarrekening, btw-aangiftes en vennootschapsbelasting voor.
  • Je verzorgt de maandelijkse financiële rapportering en krijgt steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid in de analyse van de cijfers.
  • Je analyseert financiële resultaten, afwijkingen en evoluties en vertaalt deze naar duidelijke inzichten.
  • Je werkt mee aan het jaarlijkse budget proces en volgt de financiële prestaties tegenover budget en forecast op.
  • Je ondersteunt het management met relevante financiële analyses en denkt mee over mogelijke verbeteringen.
  • Je analyseert bestaande financiële processen en neemt initiatief om deze efficiënter te maken.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met externe partners zoals auditors, banken en andere financiële dienstverleners.
  • Je werkt mee aan diverse financiële projecten en krijgt de kans om jouw rol stelselmatig verder uit te bouwen richting controlling.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je behaalde je master in een economische/financiële richting of beschikt over relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 4 jaar relevante ervaring en beschikt bij voorkeur over een goede kennis van accounting.
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en krijgt energie van het begrijpen van het verhaal achter de cijfers.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent leergierig en werkt graag in teamverband.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel en ervaring met een ERP-systeem is een pluspunt.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
