Onze klant gelegen te Aarschot is al meer dan 25 jaar actief als toonaangevend leverancier van kwaliteitsvolle bedrijfskleding, werkkleding en promotioneel textiel. Al hun items in stock kunnen gepersonaliseerd worden.

Liever iets helemaal op maat? Hun specialisten staan je bij van ontwerp tot levering.

Ter ondersteuning van het team zijn ze opzoek naar een FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

Als FINANCIAL CONTROLLER kijk je verder dan alleen de cijfers.

Je wil begrijpen waarom bepaalde resultaten ontstaan, welke afwijkingen er zijn en wat de financiële data vertellen over de organisatie.

Je combineert financiële rapportering met analyse, forecasting en procesoptimalisatie. Je vertaalt cijfers naar duidelijke inzichten voor het management en denkt actief mee over manieren om financiële processen efficiënter en slimmer te organiseren.

Je werkt binnen een internationale structuur, maar geniet tegelijk van korte communicatielijnen, veel verantwoordelijkheid en ruimte voor eigen initiatief.

Wat ga je doen?

Je functie bestaat uit drie belangrijke onderdelen:

1. Financiële rapportering & accounting

  • Je ondersteunt de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Je staat mee in voor de financiële rapportering naar het lokale management en het Zweedse hoofdkantoor.
  • Je volgt intercompanytransacties en transfer pricing op.
  • Je werkt mee aan fiscale aangiftes en jaarrekeningen.
  • Je ondersteunt bij audits en zorgt ervoor dat de financiële informatie correct en volledig is.

2. Analyse & controlling

  • Je werkt mee aan budgetten en forecasts.
  • Je analyseert financiële resultaten, kosten, rendabiliteit en afwijkingen.
  • Je onderzoekt waar verschillen vandaan komen en vertaalt deze naar duidelijke inzichten.
  • Je bouwt mee aan rapporteringen en dashboards die het management ondersteunen bij beslissingen.
  • Je gebruikt financiële data om trends en verbeterpunten binnen de organisatie zichtbaar te maken.

3. Procesverbetering

  • Je denkt actief mee over hoe financiële processen eenvoudiger en efficiënter kunnen.
  • Je zoekt mee naar mogelijkheden voor verdere automatisering van rapporteringen en financiële processen.
  • Je neemt deel aan financiële en organisatiebrede projecten.
  • Je werkt samen met verschillende afdelingen om processen verder te optimaliseren.

REF: MEC

We zoeken iemand met een Masterdiploma in een economische of financiële richting en minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen bijvoorbeeld controlling, finance of audit.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • Je bent analytisch en nauwkeurig, maar tegelijk ook praktisch ingesteld en proactief.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Microsoft Office, ERP-systemen, rapporteringstools en Power BI.
  • Je hebt kennis van BE GAAP, vennootschapsrecht, fiscaliteit, btw-regelgeving en boekhoudkundige regelgeving.
  • Je communiceert vlot en werkt graag samen met verschillende interne en externe stakeholders.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels en beschikt over een goede kennis van Frans.
  • Je gaat zorgvuldig en discreet om met vertrouwelijke financiële informatie.
  • Je vindt het interessant om niet alleen cijfers te verwerken, maar ook te begrijpen wat er achter die cijfers zit.
