De organisatie actief in technische oplossingen voor industriële en bouwgerelateerde toepassingen combineert distributie, conversie en projectmatige activiteiten. Ze opereert in een Europese context met meerdere entiteiten, lokale teams en uiteenlopende marktdynamieken, ondersteund door een centrale finance-aanpak.

De financial controller werkt binnen het corporate finance team van 16 personen en fungeert als schakel tussen groepsniveau en lokale finance leads. De rol biedt brede exposure: van maandafsluitingen en managementrapportering tot consolidatie, KPI-ontwikkeling en ondersteuning van strategische groei-initiatieven.

Financial Controller - Functieomschrijving:

  • Aansturen en opvolgen van maand- en jaarafsluitingen voor meerdere internationale entiteiten, in nauwe samenwerking met lokale finance verantwoordelijken en met focus op kwaliteit, timing en consistentie.
  • Ontwikkelen en verfijnen van management- en KPI-rapportering, inclusief diepgaande analyses (zoals price/volume/mix) en duidelijke duiding van resultaten richting management en stakeholders.
  • Bijdragen aan budgettering, forecasting en strategische projecten, waaronder consolidatie, IFRS-bridge, business reviews, investeringsanalyses en de financiële integratie van nieuwe acquisities.

Financial Controller - Profiel:

  • Masteropleiding in een financiële of economische richting, aangevuld met een eerste stevige ervaring (ongeveer 3-4 jaar) binnen audit, controlling of een internationale finance-omgeving.
  • Sterk analytisch en system-minded, met interesse in ERP-omgevingen, rapporteringstools en datagedreven besluitvorming.
  • Professioneel communicatief, vlot in Engels en comfortabel in een internationale, gedecentraliseerde context met occasionele verplaatsingen.
