Binnen een internationale organisatie die actief is in 169 landen ondersteun je de financiële directie en het team financial control bij een brede waaier aan financiële taken. De functie combineert rapportering, auditvoorbereiding, projectfinanciën en interne controle, met aandacht voor nauwkeurigheid, compliance en tijdige opvolging.

De verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder meer:

  • Verifiëren van facturen, creditnota’s, reisautorisaties en betalingsdocumenten volgens contracten, aankooporders, interne procedures en donorregels.
  • Inboeken van facturen en financiële rapporten van partners in het boekhoudsysteem.
  • Controleren van verschillen en nauwkeurigheid bij valutaconversies.
  • Bewaren en beheren van financiële documentatie voor interne en externe audits en ondersteunen bij auditvoorbereiding.
  • Financiële monitoring van projecten met interne en externe financiering, inclusief budgetvoorbereiding, rapportering en donorrapporten.
  • Financieel advies en ondersteuning bieden aan interne afdelingen, regionale kantoren en externe partners, met naleving van donorstandaarden.
  • Ondersteunen van de Director of Finance bij maandafsluitingen, kwartaalrapporten en budgetplanning.
  • Updaten van gegevens in monitoringtools en tabellen.
  • Back‑up en ondersteuning bieden aan het financial control‑team.
  • Bijdragen aan het opstellen en verbeteren van procedures en praktijken voor een solide financieel beheer.
  • Bachelor in finance of administratieve richting, met minstens twee jaar ervaring in finance of accounting.
  • Kennis van financiële, boekhoudkundige en budgettaire systemen, Belgische boekhoudprincipes, fiscaliteit (incl. btw) en interne controleprocedures.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van Engels en Frans; kennis van een extra officiële ITUC‑taal is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring in een non‑profitomgeving is een meerwaarde .
  • Sterke Excel‑vaardigheden; kennis van Microsoft Business Central is een troef.
  • Ervaring met subsidie‑administratie is een pluspunt.
  • Teamgerichte ingesteldheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en respect voor deadlines.
  • Zelfstandig, initiatiefrijk, communicatief en discreet, met een positieve houding in een evoluerende omgeving.
  • Bereid om binnen woonafstand van Brussel te wonen na aanstelling.
