Haal jij energie uit het analyseren van financiële gegevens, het ontdekken van afwijkingen en het zorgen dat deze rechtgezet worden en alles klopt? Dan is de functie van Financial Reconciliation Officer bij Vanbreda Risk & Benefits misschien wel de juiste volgende stap in jouw carrière.

Vanuit deze functie speel je een belangrijke rol in het bewaken van de financiële juistheid van onze boekingen en financiële cijfers. Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met de collega’s van onze verschillende verzekeringsafdelingen, verzekeringsmaatschappijen en andere partners.

Wat zijn jouw verantwoordelijkheden?

Als collega in ons team Insurers Accounts sta je in voor het opvolgen van en het uitvoeren van doorgedreven controles op de financiële administratie van ons als makelaar t.o.v. de verschillende verzekeringsmaatschappijen waarmee we samenwerken.

Dit houdt in:

  • Je controleert en analyseert de boekingen tussen Vanbreda als makelaar en de verzekeringsmaatschappijen voor verschillende domeinen zoals o.a. auto, brand en aansprakelijkheid,..
  • Je spoort verschillen op en laat ze corrigeren. Hiervoor neem je contact op met de interne polisbeheerders en/of de verzekeringsmaatschappijen.
  • Je levert correct informatie aan en registreert deze voor de correcte afrekening met verzekeringsmaatschappijen.
  • Je staat in voor een optimale communicatie met onze commerciële afdelingen én met de verzekeringsmaatschappijen.

Dankzij jouw analytische blik worden verschillen snel opgespoord en opgelost. Zo zorg je mee voor correcte financiële stromen tussen Vanbreda en de verzekeringsmaatschappijen en kunnen onze klanten en partners rekenen op een vlekkeloze administratie.

Wat zijn jouw vaardigheden?

Voor deze functie zoeken we een collega die nauwkeurig werkt, die verbanden ziet, afwijkingen opmerkt en niet rust voor je de juiste verklaring hebt gevonden. Tegelijk ben je een echte teamspeler die vlot communiceert met collega's en externe partners om samen tot een oplossing te komen.

  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een bacheloropleiding in een administratieve, financiële of economische richting, of hebt een gelijkwaardig niveau opgebouwd door relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met cijfers en haalt plezier uit het analyseren en controleren van financiële gegevens.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, nauwkeurig en efficiënt, ook wanneer je verschillende dossiers tegelijkertijd opvolgt.
  • Je neemt initiatief, denkt oplossingsgericht en kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.
  • Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en weet informatie helder over te brengen.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een digitale werkomgeving en maakt je nieuwe systemen en toepassingen snel eigen.
  • Ervaring binnen de verzekeringssector is een plus, maar zeker geen must. Dankzij een uitgebreid opleidingstraject en de begeleiding van ervaren collega's krijg je alle kansen om onze sector, systemen en processen grondig te leren kennen.
  • Je communiceert perfect in het Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Kennis van het Frans en/of Engels is een mooie troef.
