Je adviseert over financiële, bedrijfsmatige en bestuurlijke vraagstukken die samenhangen met projecten, investeringen en ontwikkelingen binnen de openbare ruimte. Je zit vroeg aan tafel bij belangrijke vraagstukken en helpt richting te geven aan keuzes die invloed hebben op de ontwikkeling van onze gemeenten. Daarbij kijk je verder dan de cijfers alleen. Je signaleert risico's, ziet kansen voor verbetering en vertaalt complexe informatie naar heldere adviezen waar management en bestuur mee verder kunnen. Het BBV kent voor jou geen geheimen en je weet deze toe te passen binnen de uit te voeren werkzaamheden. Het beoordelen van college- en raadsadviezen en het maken van begrotingswijzigingen behoren ook tot het takenpakket. Je analyseert ontwikkelingen en adviseert over risico's, beheersmaatregelen en financiële effecten. Je werkt nauw samen met andere business controllers binnen de financiële functie, evenals met het domeinmanagement, projectleiders, gemeentecontrollers en financieel specialisten. De nadruk ligt de komende periode op het opstellen van de jaarrekeningen. Bij een eventuele verlenging ben je ook in staat om samen met het afdelingsmanagement een belangrijke bijdrage te leveren aan de kadernota's en tussentijdse rapportages.
