Den Haag behoort hiermee tot de vier grootste gemeenten van Nederland. Het bestuur van de gemeente Den Haag, bestaande uit het college van burgemeester en wethouders, is gehuisvest in het Stadhuis aan het Spui. Het Stadhuis, stadskantoor Leyweg en de stadsdeelkantoren vormen de belangrijkste (neven)locaties en zijn gevestigd in de stadsdelen Centrum, Escamp, Haagse Hout, Laak, Leidschenveen-Ypenburg, Loosduinen, Scheveningen en Segbroek. Voor verdere informatie over de gemeente zie de website www.denhaag.nl. Je komt te werken binnen de directie Welzijn, Volksgezondheid en Zorg (WVZ) van OCW. De directie bestaat uit circa 100 medewerkers, verdeeld over vier domeinen. Samen met nog één andere financieel beleidsmedewerker werk je voor deze directie. Werken bij de beleidsafdeling Stad en Bestuur van de dienst Onderwijs, Cultuur en Welzijn (OCW) betekent samen met ruim 200 collega's bijdragen aan vraagstukken die ertoe doen. Onze thema's variëren van onderwijs en jeugd tot sport, cultuur, welzijn en zorg. Wij werken aan nieuwe beleidsinitiatieven, passen bestaand beleid aan en zoeken de juiste instrumenten om onze beleidsdoelen te realiseren.
