Financieel- bouwkundig adviseur voor de realisatie nieuwe bibliotheek Hilversum - TenMonks Financieel- bouwkundig adviseur voor de realisatie nieuwe bibliotheek Hilversum Voor deze opdracht wordt de financieel bouwkundig adviseur gevraagd. In het centrum van Hilversum wordt een nieuwe bibliotheek gerealiseerd voor de inwoners van de nieuwe gemeente. In de bibliotheek worden ook een aantal culturele en maatschappelijke organisaties gehuisvest. De bibliotheek bevindt zich nu midden in de fase van verbouwing van de nieuwe locatie, het voorbereiden van de vernieuwde exploitatie voor een brede bibliotheekfunctie met een media component en een nog verdere verbreding en samenwerking met diverse maatschappelijke en culturele partijen in de stad. De ontwikkeling van de nieuwe locatie vindt plaats door Bibliotheek Hilversum, onder leiding van de directie en Raad van Toezicht. De gemeente heeft een kaderstellende- en subsidie verlenende rol en is ook borgsteller van de benodigde financiële investering. De realisatie van de bibliotheek met een breed profiel in een bestaand pand is een complexe verbouwing, waarbij veel ontwikkelingen tegelijkertijd spelen. Recent is gebleken dat de business-case m.b.t de investering en toekomstige exploitatie (programma en organisatie), de sturing op de bouwkundige realisatie, en het omgevingsmanagement ontoereikend is. Daarnaast is ook uitloop in budget en tijd aan de orde. Om die reden wil de gemeente twee aanvullende adviseurs aantrekken tot de oplevering van de nieuwe bibliotheek en de start van de nieuwe exploitatie, zodat de bibliotheek weer voldoende grip en regie krijgt op de genoemde onderwerpen. De twee adviseurs hebben het volgende profiel: - Adviseur met financieel en bouwkundig profiel De gemeenteraad heeft op 21 september 2022 besloten tot vestiging van de nieuwe bibliotheek in de Gooische Brink.
