Als Financieel medewerker binnen de Financiële Service Organisatie in 's-Gravenhage zorg jij dat de wereldwijde betaalstromen van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken vlekkeloos verlopen. Je werkt in een informele sfeer aan de verwerking van valuta uit de hele wereld en draagt direct bij aan het verbeteren van de financiële processen. Jouw werk als Financieel medewerker In deze functie draag je zorg voor een tijdige en efficiënte verwerking van alle betalingen van het ministerie en de Nederlandse vertegenwoordigingen in het buitenland. Je voert handmatige betalingen in via electronic-bankingpakketten en de Payment Factory. Daarnaast adviseer je over afgekeurde betalingen en monitor je koersontwikkelingen om spot rates vast te stellen. Samenwerken bij het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken Je komt te werken bij de afdeling Payments & Cash Management (PCM), een divers team van 16 medewerkers. De standplaats is de Schedeldoekshaven in Den Haag, vlak bij het centraal station. Er wordt hybride gewerkt, waarbij het gehele team op dinsdag samenkomt op kantoor. Het Ministerie zet in op een inclusieve werkcultuur waar iedereen zichzelf kan zijn. Over de organisatie Het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken is de spil in de communicatie tussen de Nederlandse regering en internationale organisaties. De Financiële Service Organisatie (FSO) ondersteunt dit proces wereldwijd met circa 180 medewerkers. Binnen de afdeling PCM werk je met moderne systemen en pas je de LEAN-methodiek toe om de dienstverlening continu te verbeteren.
