Als financieel projectbeheerder binnen het team Financieel Onderzoeksprojectbeheer neem je een sleutelrol op in de ondersteuning van onderzoekers door samen met je collega's te zorgen voor een nauwgezette opvolging van projectbudgetten van diverse extern gefinancierde onderzoeksprojecten en -mandaten.

Concreet behoren volgende taken tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid:

  • Onderzoekers wegwijs maken in de gangbare procedures aan de UGent met betrekking tot financieel projectbeheer;
  • Onderzoekers vertrouwd maken met de financiële richtlijnen van diverse financieringskanalen;
  • Opvolging van aanvragen van externe onderzoeksprojecten door budgethouders (o.a. controle budgetten met afstemming van de interne en externe regelgevingen);
  • Instaan voor het inbrengen van financiële gegevens van projecten in het financieel boekhoudkundig systeem SAP met inbegrip van facturatieplannen en verantwoordingsplannen;
  • Voorbereiden van de financiële verantwoording van diverse types projecten (Europese kaderprogramma's en andere types EU-projecten, Vlaamse projecten, Federale projecten, …) in overleg met de budgethouder(s), dienst Financiën en de vertegenwoordigers van de financierende organisaties;
  • Voorbereiden van de boekhoudkundige afsluitingen van afgelopen projecten;
  • Ad hoc ondersteuning bieden aan andere directe collega's;
  • Administratieve opvolging van de rapporteringsverplichting door projectpromotoren en mandaathouders in goede banen leiden.

Kennis en ervaring

  • Je beschikt over sterke vaardigheden in Excel en hebt daarnaast kennis op gebruikersniveau van andere veelgebruikte softwaretoepassingen (MS Teams, SharePoint e.d.);
  • Ervaring op gebruikersniveau van het financieel boekhoudkundig softwarepakket SAP is aanbevolen;
  • Een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels is noodzakelijk;
  • Kennis van een universitaire omgeving strekt tot aanbeveling.

  • Je bent administratief sterk, beschikt over goede organisatorische vaardigheden en kan goed omgaan met deadlines;
  • Je beschikt over samenwerkings- en communicatievaardigheden om zowel met collega's als met andere relevante stakeholders binnen de universiteit en erbuiten constructief in overleg te kunnen gaan;
  • Je hebt een analytische geest en denkt proactief, oplossingsgericht en toont zin voor initiatief;
  • Je kunt zelfstanding werken maar bent tevens een teamspeler die regelmatig met collega's afstemt en constructief bijdraagt tot een gezamenlijk resultaat;
  • Je bent betrouwbaar en leergierig;
  • Je bent communicatief en beschikt over een klantvriendelijke houding;
  • Je deinst er niet voor terug om presentaties te geven en voelt je vertrouwd bij het spreken voor groepen;
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en behoudt steeds het overzicht.
