Uw inzet kan levens redden! FIT & Infra Engineer ASTRID is een innoverend en hoogtechnologisch netwerk voor spraak en gegevens. De radiocommunicatie via het ASTRID-netwerk is specifiek bestemd voor alle hulp- en veiligheidsdiensten en ondersteunt hun onderlinge samenwerking. Politie, brandweer en hulpdiensten kunnen dankzij ASTRID snel en veilig communiceren. Het digitale netwerk wordt in elke provincie aangevuld met een geïntegreerde meldkamer. ASTRID is een naamloze vennootschap van publiek recht, een initiatief van de federale overheid. Om ons team in onze hoofdzetel te Brussel te versterken, zoeken wij momenteel een enthousiaste FIT & Infra Engineer.

Jobomschrijving

De afdeling Field & Infrastructure Team (FIT) is verantwoordelijk voor:

  • de projecten en het beheer van de sites voor radiocommunicatie: aankoop, bouw, verbouwing, onderhoud, site sharing
  • de projecten en het beheer in verband met de technische omgeving van de provinciale meldkamers; dit betreft meer bepaald de fysieke installaties van apparatuur (de racks, de stroomvoorziening, de klimaatregeling, de data bekabeling, …)
  • de projecten en het beheer van de datacentra: fysieke installatie (inrichting, bekabeling, toewijzen van beschikbare rackruimte)
  • de projecten en het beheer van het ASTRID-gebouw (in samenwerking/overleg met de verhuurder en de preventieadviseur). Dit betreft ondermeer werken met betrekking tot electriciteit, HVAC enz.
  • het verlenen, op het terrein, van technische ondersteuning aan de gebruikers van het netwerk (troubleshooting van de radiocommunicatieproblemen)
  • het verlenen, op het terrein, van technische ondersteuning aan de projecten van de ASTRID-afdelingen.

ASTRID zoekt momenteel een Field & Infrastructure Engineer die zal instaan voor:

  • de opvolging van het preventief en correctief onderhoud van de radiocommunicatiesites in Vlaanderen
  • het verlenen van soepele en diverse technische ondersteuning op het terrein
  • het oplossen van problemen op het terrein en er een complete analyse van leveren
  • de documentatie van de sites (opvolging van het up-to-date brengen van plannen, …)
  • het verlenen van technische ondersteuning voor de bouw of de aanpassing van telecommunicatiesites: planning, coördinatie, controle van de kosten, opvolging op de site, gedeeltelijk beheer van het contractuele deel.
  • het verlenen van technische ondersteuning voor fysieke installaties of aanpassingen in de provinciale of nationale datacentra.
  • Het beheer van de uitrol van de 2 mobiele basisstations (MTU’s) in geval van evenementen of crisissen ( beheer van het onderhoud)
  • Uw werkterrein is vooral in Vlaanderen
  • Een diploma van bachelor of gelijkwaardig door ervaring, in een technische richting (elektronica/telecommunicatie)
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring op het vlak van de telecom basisstations en/of van de fysieke installatie in datacentra, kennis van de TETRA-wereld is een troef.
  • Bouwkundige plannen, elektrische schema’s en architectuurschema’s van radiocommunicatie hebben geen geheimen voor u.
  • U hebt ervaring met radiodekkingsmetingen
  • Zeer vlot gebruik van de MS-Office producten.
  • U bent Nederlandstalig met kennis van het Frans. U hebt een goede kennis van het technisch Engels.
  • Geen hoogtevrees (klimopleidingen voorzien)
  • Verwachte competenties : klantgericht, resultaatgericht, autonoom met gedrevenheid, analytisch vermogen, leergierig.
