Vanuit ruim twintig jaar expertise in katalyse, chemische procesontwikkeling en polymeren ontwikkelt en commercialiseert Avantium technologieën die duurzame grondstoffen omzetten in hoogwaardige chemicaliën en materialen. De onderneming wil de chemische industrie helpen loskomen van fossiele grondstoffen en werkt daarvoor samen met internationale merken, producenten en technologiepartners. Avantium realiseert in Delfzijl de eerste commerciële fabriek ter wereld voor de productie van FDCA, de essentiële bouwsteen voor een volledig plantaardig en recyclebaar polymeer In Delfzijl realiseert Avantium de eerste commerciële fabriek ter wereld voor de productie van FDCA: de essentiële bouwsteen voor Releaf® (PEF), een volledig plantaardig en recyclebaar polymeer met toepassingen in onder meer verpakkingen, flessen, folie en textiel. Na de ingebruikname van de belangrijkste procesinstallaties en de productie van de eerste FDCA-batch bevindt de locatie zich in de cruciale overgang van project en commissioning naar stabiele, continue commerciële productie. De komende jaren moet de fabriek veilig worden opgeschaald naar een ontwerpcapaciteit van 5 kiloton FDCA per jaar. Om deze unieke productielocatie door de start-up-, kwalificatie- en ramp-upfase te leiden, zoeken wij voor Avantium een Flagship Plant Manager. Functie-omschrijving Als Flagship Plant Manager ben je integraal eindverantwoordelijk voor het veilig, betrouwbaar, efficiënt en milieubewust functioneren van de fabriek. Je geeft leiding aan circa 70 medewerkers en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de COO. Onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid vallen veiligheid, productie, maintenance, logistiek, technology en commissio...
