The posting

In de functie van Glasvezelblazer assisteer je de hoofduitvoerder met het aanleggen van glasvezelverbindingen tussen technische gebouwen en FTTH (Fiber to the Home). Je hebt een veelzijdig takenpakket met wisselende werkzaamheden. Samen met je teamgenoten blaas je de glasvezelkabels in een bestaande mantelbuis door middel van blaas-jets en een compressor. Je voert diverse graaf-, blaas- en montagewerkzaamheden uit.

De werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd op wisselende projectlocaties in Nederland en België. De projecten worden uitgevoerd voor verschillende opdrachtgevers en kunnen in verschillende gemeenten plaatsvinden. Er is daarom geen sprake van één vaste werklocatie of een vaste geografische regio. De planning en locatie van de werkzaamheden worden doorgaans ongeveer één week voorafgaand aan de inzet bekendgemaakt. De duur van een project kan afhankelijk van de voortgang en de planning van de opdrachtgever variëren. Van de medewerker wordt daarom verwacht dat hij flexibel inzetbaar is op verschillende projectlocaties.

Bij werkzaamheden in België wordt gedurende de werkweek van maandag tot en met vrijdag op locatie gewerkt. International Fiber Contractor B.V. beschikt hiervoor over een vaste verblijfslocatie in Aalst. De medewerker moet bereid zijn gedurende de werkweek op deze locatie of een andere door de werkgever aangewezen verblijfslocatie te verblijven en vanaf daar naar de betreffende projectlocatie te reizen.

De functie wordt uitgevoerd binnen een vast team. Het is van belang dat medewerkers goed met elkaar kunnen samenwerken, op elkaar zijn ingespeeld en op verschillende projecten gezamenlijk inzetbaar zijn.

Wij zijn een kleine organisatie die sinds 2021 actief is in Nederland en sinds 2023 ook werkzaamheden in Belgie uitvoert. Doordat wij een kleine organisatie hebben, zijn er ook korte lijnen onderling wat zorgt voor een relaxte werkomgeving. Ondanks de verschillende projecten, projectlocaties en de druk die daar soms mee gepaard gaat, hebben wij een team die dit werk met plezier uitvoert en elke keer weer de uitdaging aangaat om meer uit een dag te halen.
